I have two kids ages 11(girl) & 14(boy). I've been a single parent with both kids the whole time so lets just say I have an A+ in survival skills! Lol They take up most of my time but If someone really interests me I will find time for them! One of my children has behavioral disorders like Tourettes, ADHD and Oppositional defiant disorder and is a hard child to raise sometimes and over the years ive been doin whatever I can to help him get better. Its been a long stressful haul but has made me a really strong person and I would never give up on him. So if you are not very patient or understanding or could not handle a child like that then im definately not for youI have alot of interests and enjoy doin most things. Some are go-carts, 4wheelers, dirt bikes, boating, jetskiing, miniature golf, movies, concerts, comedy clubs, amusement parks and more. Ive even done some daring things like sky diving, bungee jumping, parasailing, and scuba diving. Its been awhile since ive done some of these things but still would enjoy doing them if given the chance.I am a very affectionate person in private and in public. Most people say they are comfy around me right away and that i'm easy to talk to. I've been through alot of things so I understand alot of things. Im not much of a drinker anymore but will have a few drinks once in awhile and not really a bar person. I'm a hard worker and a great mom!!I'm not looking for a one night stand or a FWB. I want the real deal. A loving, lasting relationship. I know it doesn't happen over night but I'm ready to get started and do what it takes to get there! I'm looking to meet someone, become friends and date, and if it turns into a long-term relationship that would be my ideal scenario, but I am not in a hurry. I am really okay on my own, but I have decided that I have never settled for just being okay so why should I when it comes to my personal life? I'm a science geek... climatologist and infectious disease ecologist by training. However, I never outgrew my fascination with dinosaurs and bugs. I began chasing storms before Doppler, laptops, and cell phones, but I don't chase often any more. I also volunteer at a YMCA day camp, leading science activities for kids of all ages (they let me blow stuff up!). I have a job that I really like, and I am finally at a point where I do not feel the need to work around the clock. Yellowstone is like a second home for me, and I like the northern Rockies in general. I prefer winter to summer, mountains to beaches, and snow to oceans, but at the end of the day I will make the most of any location my life takes me. I enjoy going to festivals in small towns, even when I don't know a soul, and have a hard time resisting a local greasy spoon or a street dance with a local band. I don't drink much, but I appreciate a dive bar and have been known to pick up a pool cue and pull off a surprising shot or two in spite of otherwise inconsistent play overall. I may also pick up a dart, but you should be prepared to duck (regardless of whether I've been drinking or not). I am fearful of crowds... but that may play in your favor if you don't mind having me glued to your side with my fingernails digging into your arms. The hyperventilation usually passes quickly.And the answer to the big question is: I am a dog person. I would like to have a few around the house, but my schedule hasn’t allowed that, so for now I am a vicarious pet owner. I’ve never met a dog that didn’t eventually like me, and I l am particularly fond of big ol’ farm mutts with bad attitudes.
