Well this isn't awkward at all! My friends keep telling me to try this site so here it goes. Im in my last semester of my bachelor degree. Im a single mom and son is #1 in my life. I work part time and volunteer and still find time to take my munchkin to swimming lessons. I don't get to spend as much time as I would like having fun but when I do I enjoy just about anything outside. I love hiking, fishing, quading, camping, hunting, snowshoeing, skidooing...this list could go on and on. I really just want someone fun and relaxed. My life has been so crazy the last couple years, I really just need some unchaotic fun. Im very honest, sometimes a little blunt. I really don't see the point of beating around the bush lol. I'm fiercely loyal, empathetic, smart, and a romantic, though my faith in romance is a little lacking of late. My family sucks, my friends are my real family. For those I love I would just about do anything. So I guess that's me in a nutshell... truck ride on some back road with a case of beer! Or perhaps a campfire...with beer of course!

Thanks for stopping by. After working in a pretty shitty job for a couple of years I have recently got a great new job in a very healthy environment. I've already started to get more active because a lot of my clients and co-workers are athletes. I'd love to get back into my high school sport of rowing but I think that for the winter I will get my exercise in the comfort of the gym then maybe hit the water in the spring.I enjoy my own company but would love to find somebody to share life's simple pleasures with. I love to cook and some of my favourite meals are seafood pasta; teriyaki pork tenderloin with caramelized onions and mashed garlic yams with spinach; I love entertaining with and for family and friends. I am very close with my family and have some great friends who I've known for ***years. Fun for me can be anything from camping down a logging road to hosting friends for an evening of sangria and appys to catching a local comedy show to shooting hoops at the park. I am NOT a girly girl and I love to get dirty but I'm also not shy about dressing up. I take care of myself but I am not fanatic about it. In reality though, I'm somewhere in the middle of those two extremes. Lastly, I'm not just "non-religious"; I am an atheist and a proud and outspoken one at that. I really love Latin culture and would love to bike around south America with the right partner one day. I don't wear makeup, and very rarely dress up... but if the occasion calls, I'll put on a stunning dress and drop some jaws. Hello, I'm a pretty relaxed person who's equally happy spending a day outdoors enjoying the weather, or staying in with some video games or a scary movie. I don't do drugs (that includes ***but I do drink socially on occasion. I am a painter and custom framer who has recently finished my degree at ACAD, and am currently working to save up a bit before applying for a second degree in education next year.I love animals and have several pets, so if you are an animal person that's a plus! I have a cat, a bird, 2 snakes, and 3 fish tanks. Most of my pets are rescue animals with the exception of a few of my fish and I put a lot of work into taking good care of them.I really like traveling although I've been focusing on school for the last 3 years. I like going to alternative shows, ranging from metal and industrial-- to electronic and other kinds of music. I have everything from *** dub-step-to silly pop music in my collection and think every genre has something good to offer.Other stuff-My biggest vice is coffee.I have some tattoos and piercings, but they are part of who I am :)Before college I was in the military for several yearsI've been a vegetarian for almost 10 yearsOver the last few years I have really gotten into aquarium keeping as a hobby.
