I never know what to put here and am new to on-line dating but here goes. First and foremost the most important thing about me is that I am a single father to an amazing soon to be 2 year old little boy that means everything to me. I was in the service for 8 years and have been all over the world. I loved every minute of it and miss it but decided it was time to get out due to being injured but mostly to be closer to family/friends and to find that special someone to settle down with to start a family someday. I do workout for my job and exercise outside as often as I can but I will never be one of those who has a 6 pack that is in the gym 8 hours a day kind of guys. I did that for 8 years straight and know their is more to life than going from home to work to the gym and to home to bed. If that's something you're looking for then move on. I like to think I am a hopeless romantic that shows the one I am with that chivalry is not dead. Receiving flowers is not just for special occasions but can even be cause of it's Wednesday. Its hard to pin point what someone is looking for in someone else but have somethings I would like to find in someone. I'd like to find someone who is passionate both in life and in a relationship. Someone who is not afraid to hold hands, kiss, or be silly with the one they are with. Someone who can be spontaneous and adventurous who isn't afraid to try new things.

Family is important, but my sense of family extends beyond those who share my DNA to the people in my life who step up to the plate for me when required, who I trust have my back when it counts, and for whom I do the same. Certainly not without our imperfections, (that is, after all, what makes us real and loveable) yet we are committed to mimizing the drama and chaos, maximize fun on a regular basis, and agree that games are for whiling away the rainy afternoons. We don't just give lip service to ideas of respect, honesty, and integrity, but come to relationships expecting to be held accountable and authentic...and would do nothing less than hold each other the same way. You 'get it' when I say that it's not about the stuff we have, but the passion we share...simple as that...and can't help but get excited about the future we're creating as "that couple".
