Hi there! I am a single mother first and foremost, was married for years and still have a close friendship with my ex husband and his sweet girlfriend, for the sake of our kids, that needs to be known right off. I want to know that I am safe when I am with you even though I can and have been able to handle my own, I think a man should always be the protector. I am traditional thinking in a lot of ways but I refuse to be the stay at home mom and housewife again, been there done that and its not for me. I want to contribute to a relationship and honestly, life is waaaaay better when there are two working adults in a household with kids. I want to get married again eventually but want to make sure it's right and not rush into anything. I believe in equality in a relationship and that everything should be a mutual decision. I always said that first dates are more like interviews anyway and its somewhat true. Its a nervous situation so I always try to make people feel as comfortable as possible.
