I do not believe that children have to suffer because of divorce, and I am not one to hold a grudge. I believe that each day should be lived as though it might be the last. I prefer dates that are unique and memorable. I do not like to go to a movie on a first date because I would rather do something that shows me who you are as an individual, or spend my time talking to you.

I try to live by the axiom that a person should try to enjoy whatever it is that they are doing, because life is too short to waste being unhappy or dissatisfied. I have a good job that I enjoy, and I am the owner/operator of a ranch. I enjoy playing with my children, and watching them grow to become good people. I like movies with a plot, novels with some substance, the smell of fresh hay, the sound of children laughing, learning/doing new things, snow skiing, and anything that makes me laugh. I don't take myself too seriously (I can, and often do, laugh at myself when I do something foolish), but I do want to be successful whatever I am doing. I think that's enough for now.
