Alright, so I'm a 29 yr old single mom that works quite a bit but knows how to find that balance in life for family time and me time as well. Actually, I'm just now getting around to the "me time". I have been single for over a year and am just trying to put myself out there and see what kind of options there are. Of course I want companionship and all of the perks that come with it, but lets be honest, you have to be friends first...and as horrible as it sounds, physical attraction. I just wanted to update the fact that i moved and i apparently have to fill this all out again because it gets deleted when you click edit.I work full time in fast food. I had transfered from my franshice to another in hopes of working into management that another company with more locations would open up more opportunities for me with my lack of a car. At the new mcds I had been working overnights for the past year and my hours ended up actually suffering...so the overnights did affect what I was looking for in freedom of a partner. I am moving back to days and will have my nights and weekends free again as well as being put back on the track to management training with my old title as i had taken a demotion with the initial move....it's good to be going back to my old company and back on track....I feel i wasted a whole year.When I have free time I enjoy the arts, I have a close friend thats an artist and try to visit her shows. With this move it actually may become easier as I have moved closer to most of my friends. Anything supernatural related-horror movies, vampire books (not of the sparkly variety).I hope to actually spend some time at the beach this summer.I am a quiet and shy person but through that I have become the person that others tend to trust with their secrets and come to for advice, and I keep them well.I'm not much of a drinker so for me to be at a bar there must be some kind of music scene going on and I do enjoy a good club night out (not your typical current music-I'm not your typical perky girl that spend more time shopping and gossiping about celebrities. I'm looking for something more then an average life)oh an interest in politics is a plus.-non of my current friends play though) and many other things

"I don't understand Chris, your blind date answered the add" "Woah" -Family GuyI'm a Washingtonian (DC) who moved to Philly 3 yrs ago - so far it's been a great change. I love going for a run down by boathouse row. Philthydelphia's growing on me, and I'm still exploring it!So besides going for the occasional run I'm pretty outdoorsy. I like to bike, ski, kayak, hike. I'm a terrible "frolfer" but still enjoy it (so long as you don't mind helping me retrieve them in the bushes). I'm also a volunteer ski patroller. Every winter I try to go somewhere to get on edge - so far I've hit VT and CO - I'm hoping to hit Tucks in '14. Don't get me wrong, I'm very skilled at watching movies and relaxing. Occasionally I'll read something. I also play a little guitar. Last songs i learned include Eddie Vedder 'Society' and The Smiths "please". In terms of my social life I enjoy a lot of different scenes: live music, comedy, chilling on the beach eating crabs and drinking beer :) I love all foods and libations in moderation. I consider myself a chameleon because I like both a chill scene but also dressing up and spinning around the dance floor. I love salsa dancing. To sort of describe my personality, I would say I'm easy going, fun, and funny. Humor is so important to me - you gota be able to laugh at yourself! I'll admit sometimes I can be serious or a deep thinker. I embrace conversation that both challenges and enlightens. I try to maintain a positive attitude and a rational mind. I enjoy exercising both the mind and body. I'm fit with some vanity pounds but always working toward a healthier-looking body. I go to the gym but rather play sports or take a class (zumba/boxing/Bikram yoga/indoor rock climbing/soccer). I am a young professional, financially independent, drive a Mini, and recently a homeowner. I love my job - it's exciting, challenging, and a mission that I'm proud to be apart of. What I'm looking for: a man who is kind, honest, generous, fun, funny, spontaneous, and adventurous - someone who is ambitious, passionate in life, love, and takes pride in their college education and has a career.
