I tried to fish, literally, I mean. With an actual pole and bait. Turned out I was good at spotting bait, digging sand fleas, and snagging rocks. And guarding the cooler. I think that should count for SOMETHING> I like hiking - would prefer the mountains, but like the local nature preserves. Owned a horse in my youth, love to ride. Pretty basic stuff, I oame from a military family, so I am used to uprooting and traveling. I tend towards restlessness at times. I am fairly content with my life. I recently had a life-changing medical scare that put me in a new place of perspective.. Gratitude is key, as is forgiveness, love, faith, understanding and acceptance...rarely is it level. I am capable of drama but do not seek it. No longer so easily rattled. Everything is as it should be.I believe: The best time to plant a tree was 50 years ago...second best time? TODAY.
