Making our way over to where the movie will be played we find the perfect spot for a picnic, as well as watching the movie. In the cooler is bottled water and a bottle of wine. As we break bread together my shyness mixed with nervousness begins to subside releasing the dam that held back the flow of my words. There soon after the shallowness of our conversation headed for deeper waters, causing us to lose sight of the exterior of things and now into the interior. Cleaning up after the meal that left us completely satisfied, not to much, yet not to little, just enough to remove any disturbance that would distract us from the moment. After finishing up we still have roughly forty five minutes, so leaving the cooler we take the basket back to the car all the while still carrying on in stimulating conversation we unknowingly venture out in unisons as if we were marching to the same beat. Strolling through the park and feeling so connected that it was as though we had known each other forever. If not for the setting of the sun warning us why we were there, we might have lost our way.Walking back to our spot we stop at a restroom, just to make sure we eliminate any attempt to channel our thoughts elsewhere. After returning to our site I remember I have these off fan thingies that will keep us from being attacked by those bloodsucking nuisance called mosquitoes. So I run back to the car and retrieve them and on my return I come across the most beautiful thing I had seen all night, and that was you smiling at me. I could feel it.. not just see it. Looking down I seen that you had already poured us a couple of glasses of wine. After getting comfortable I reach inside a little compartment and pull out two fortune cookies in hopes that the energy that had been flowing would speak something special about the moment we were sharing. Then came the sound of movie trailers and still reeling from the moment I ask you if I could kiss you., and with an even bigger grin you said; I thought you’d never ask. That setting the stage for a night of cuddling under countless stars and a cool breeze that made cuddling much more meaningful.As the movie came to an end we found ourselves not ready to call it a night.
