Knows that you can gain influence people more using compassion than ruling with an iron fist. In love matters, he may have had his heart bruised in the past but he's still open to the possibility of finding committed, lasting love again. Must be emotionally and physically available for a relationship (i.e. not separated, married or still carrying a torch for another woman, or looking for a long distant relationship). I've been able to work through my relationship blocks and expect the man that I date to have worked through his too. The bottom line is that I'm not looking for perfection but I need to be with someone who will make me feel like I'm that shiny new "toy" that he never wants to stop playing with. I don't think any of us really expected to be where we are today. I know I never would have thought that I would be sitting on some website looking at different men's profiles seeing who my "perfect match" is. You want honesty? A real person? Well, here it is. I have been married 3 times and I have four kids. LOL....don't freak out yet....my kids are grown and while all relationships take two to make it or break it and I accept responsibility for my part in that, they would not have ended had addictions not been a part of the equation. You can only fight for so long. I have been single for awhile now, so any anger or other junk that was a result of a failed marriage is in my past; but it has made me wiser in what I look for in a man. I actually maintained a decent relationship with my first two exes because we had children together. The 3rd one and I had nothing together and therefore I never felt a necessity to carry on a relationship once the marriage ended. I am a very honest and loyal person and being that kind of person I find it a waste of time to respond to those I am not interested in. That may seem a little rude but I tried to answer all messages at first and it made saying I'm not interested very difficult. I look for honest, trustworthy men that act like men. Meaning you hold a job and do what you say. I expect to be treated properly, with respect. If your just looking for a hookup....I'm probably not the woman for you. If we get to a point that I give you my number so that we can get to know each other, it is not so I can send you pics....LOL... and if you want to meet then we should actually do that. I think one of my biggest pet peeves is lack of communication....meaning that if your interested, then talk to me and if something falls through or you lost interest...tell me. I see myself retiring someday, living on the beach and sitting in my rocking chair with my life mate sitting beside me....here is to hoping anyway. I work nights fulltime as well as attend school fulltime so give me a day or so to respond...I may jump on and check my messages but I do not always have time to respond. What I want: A friend, lover, and partner. I look for good communication, honesty, faithfulness, nice looking, with a great personality (meaning be yourself!). I like men that are taller than myself and height/weight proportionate (usually athletic to average). I do not interracially date...no offense, it is just not my thing. I can not have any more children, so if you are hoping to have a baby; I'm not the one. I guess age wise, I am looking for someone in there late 30's to mid to late 40's. I like to be as active as I can so I do not want someone that never wants to go do anything....LOL. I am not into anyone that does drugs or drinks too much....this includes pills. I do not mind dating men that have children; although, I never have before. I also am fine with most pets; however, my son is allergic to cats so that would be a problem if we took this relationship further. I am fine with tats and piercings but please do not have them on your face. I can't look at you if you have writing all over your face...LOL. You must have pictures before I will contact you and if you are married or separated I will not respond because unfortunately a lot of men say they are separated in order to "hookup."
