I plan to go back to school but I just bought a house that needs some work and I've been putting most of my time into fixing it up. Dinner is traditional and a nice way to get to know someone,But I think maybe taking her out for a cup of coffee is a more relaxed setting. We can work our way up to dinner later. On our first date I'd like to get to know her interests and goals, her likes and dislikes...and even find out what kind of food she likes for when I take her out to eat. Now I'm not one to take someone home on the first few dates. I want a relationship that will last so I wouldn't want to rush into things. I'd take her back to her house after the date but I would call her on my way home and if she's not too tired I'd love to stay up and chat some more. Maybe that sounds boreing but doing anything too big on a date makes it hard to get to know the person. The best way to get to know someone is to talk and listen.
