I'm new to Austin, but it already feels like home. I've traveled a lot and plan to keep traveling. Austin was the first place that I ever visited and decided, "yea, I have to live here," so I sold most of my things, filled my Honda Fit with what I could and took my time seeing the sites while driving half way across the country. I'm working as a freelance graphic designer and I have to say, It's a pretty fantastic lifestyle. I should have made the move to being my own boss years ago. I'm an outdoors kinda guy. I'll throw down with board and tabletop games at the local comic shop and I'll marathon a videogame once in a while.

I have been working as a freelance proofreader/editor for the past four years. I absolutely adore it but am looking for something more; I know I do not want to edit books for the rest of my life.
