New to my birthplace and reading profiles is a major reason I even bother here, always entertaining. I have never read guy profiles and don't care to, but with rare exception most profiles read basically the same. I have to wonder if there is a template out there going around. I get it, most of us don't like selling ourselves, some hate that online dating is now what we have resorted to and wish there was another way. So why do we still do it? I guess I just refuse to believe that I will not eventually find someone that I want to be with and wants to be with me. I am far from typical in many aspects. I read, study and learn just for the personal growth I feel from being able to hold a conversation that is more than an opinion.(sarcasm) I like to question why, I never have been one to follow the "that's the way it is has always been". I can't help but chuckle at what seems to be normal here. Normal, like happiness and beauty is certainly in the eye of the beholder. Complacency and the 'way it is" runs amuck without much thought. Luckily for all of us that attitude was not or is not the way it is everywhere else. We all might be singing "god save the queen" or worse. I read all sides of a story, I question without judgment or prejudice and really try to understand all sides. It is only then do I feel like I can actually give an opinion on anything. I am amazed at what I learn, sometimes baffled, but always come away from it with a better understanding, I may not agree but that is not for me to judge. I don't expect people to think as I do, just as I don't want them to expect me to think like them. I haven't learned the art of tact or a filter very often and am not overly concerned if the truth hurts. I live that way, expect nothing less in return. Live and die by the sword. I know how to treat a woman, am old fashioned in many ways when it comes mans role without the woman being unequal crap. I do it because I chose to, it was how I was raised. I love discussion, not a fan of debate. I enjoy thought not biased by culture or closed mindedness, free will is encouraged and expected. I am random with consistency, truthful and giving to my own detriment at times. Very sarcastic, but the term "; often comes to mind. (No I do not mean rude or attacking as one thinks when they think of New Yorkers) I am far from normal but consider myself to be normal. I have and will do everything short of moving heaven and earth for people I care about. Loved, lost, been heart broken and broke some hearts, never afraid of failure, I will never not play for fear of loss. No regrets, I learned and continue to learn from my mistakes. I strive to be better than I was yesterday. I love the simple as much as the complex. I don't judge based on background or past experiences. You can be a world traveler or someone who has rarely left the state, it doesn't define you. Anything is possible with the right approach or attitude. I am confident without but far from arrogant, I am only limited by my own self, if I want something I am unstoppable in my goal. I am far from perfect but will not stop trying while all the while knowing perfection is unattainable. I have a knack for remembering the most useless information, movie lines and music. I enjoy almost all types of music but if it sounds like a sneaker in the dryer, I usually change the station. I do not have children, not because I do not like them, I just refused to try and fix a bad situation with bringing a child into it, I know those that have and even though they do not regret having the child, they regret ever putting a kid through it. I have spent alot of time coaching kids sports and teaching kids to ski. So for now my dogs are my kids, I spoil them rotten and for that they are the true definition of "unconditional love". I am an avid sports fan. I retired from a very stressful job in NY, I obviously could have continued to work for many years but to me health, mental and physical was more important, I watched too many people go on and either drop dead far before their time or have major complications that they will never recover from. I walked away, now I have several things going on that keep me busy, I have a few ideas for "what I wanna do" floating around and I go to school, it will all work out as it should in time and I certainly don't worry about it. Questions ask, comments are welcome, my pics are me 30 lbs ago, I could update them but probably won't. This site does not *** hope but i guess until I decide to be a monk or some *** I will stick with this. Happy fishing. If I told you what fun would that be?

Hmm where to start. I turned 25 in June. I work fulltime at Starbucks currently. I sadly still live at home with my parents but I wont move out until I'm financially stable.
