About a year ago, I was laid off from my design job and it’s been the best thing that has ever happened to me. The time off gave me the opportunity to learn so much about myself and what I want out of life. When one door closes, another definitely opens.Recently, I bought my first house and spend a lot of my free time spackling, painting and decorating. My porch is one of my favorite places — I love relaxing out there with a glass of wine (or a beer!) and a good book.Living an active, healthy life is very important to me.
