I'm passionate and opinionated, driven and determined, I sometimes talk too much, but I think I have interesting things to say. I'm not a religious person, but I do have morals and try to do the right thing, I can't stand sports. I'd much rather go to a concert than a ball game. I love to laugh and have a great (and slightly twisted) sense of humor. I have the biggest most wonderful group of completely dysfunctional friends who mean the world to me. I'm very happy with myself, but there is always room for improvement and I recognize those areas and do what I can to become a better person. I work hard and I study hard. I'm very independent and take a lot of pride in that, but I thoroughly appreciate chivalry.I'd like to meet someone with a great sense of humor. Life is boring without laughter. I'd like to meet someone who is just as content to spend an evening snuggled up on the couch, watching a movie as they are to go out to see some live bands. Someone who can, on a whim, decide to take a day trip. Someone who can hang out with my friends and I and have a good time over some beers and good conversation or for a game night. Someone with character, depth, and a passion for life and learning, someone who can form an educated opinion and talk about it - even if it's just a favorite band or movie.I'm very passionate about music. Some of my favorites include: The Clash, Dance Hall Crashers, The Specials, The Cure, Bad Religion, The Ramones, The Toasters, STP, Foo Fighters, Joy Division, Violent Femmes, Poe, Enigma, Mozart, Weezer, Bob Marley, Billie Holiday, Death Cab for Cutie, The Birthday Massacre, 80's new wave....the list goes on and on...I work in the social services field as a Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Specialist, teaching life skills to adults with mental illness. I just completed my Associates degree in Social Sciences and am continuing my education, studying Business Administration, part time. I work a second job slinging pizzas on the weekends. On top of all of that, I do some volunteering and fundraising and a little cake decorating on the side.I have a lot going on, but there's always room for more - especially when it's something that matters. If you're worth it, I'll make the time for you.A nice first date could start out with dinner so we could get to know a little more about each other, then perhaps on to a movie, or to hear a good band, or since the weather is getting nicer, maybe a round of mini-golf! An afternoon date is just as nice, meeting for lunch, or meeting at a park to walk my dogs and talk.

Well, here I am. In a nutshell I am a family-oriented, sun-loving, spontaneous woman who is looking for a good man. I love to go camping, to outdoor concerts, festivals, flea markets and be out and about to see new things as much as possible. I like to go wine tasting occasionally and I like trying new foods. I dig going to Tahoe and Reno just as much as everyone else seems to on this site. (Close enough to get there quickly and not too far away that I feel guilty leaving my cats alone.) I love to BBQ with family and friends, sit around a fire pit and enjoy a good laugh. There are so many of us on this site and I'm just looking for one. What I have to offer is my time, my generosity, my loyalty, my sense of humor and the overall care that I give to those in my life. I love to laugh and I need someone in my life that loves to laugh too. Someone who isnt going to take himself to seriousy and just go with the flow. I'd love to find someone who can get together for dinner, a movie, a baseball game or whatever, on a whim. If you love football, that would be a plus. I am a Raiders fan, and an A's fan but I've gone to my share of Giants games too. Sports are just fun to watch. I love to people watch while I'm there too. I like going to movies occasionally. If you can handle a chick flick once in a while, I can tolerate an action film. I am feminine, but I can fix things around my house and change a tire if I have to. I don't mind getting dirty in the garden or getting leaves in my hair when I get on the riding lawnmower. (I still help my pop around his property.) Of course, like any girl, it would be nice to have someone help me do those things. If you're the one, write me.
