Not exactly sure what I'm looking for on here, just someone pleasant to talk to and have some fun with. If it leads to something more, great. If not, then at least we've both made another friend, and those are good too! I have a 6 year old little boy who's my world. His father and I divorced when he was 2, and I've had relationships since but nothing too serious. The problem is most of you guys are too needy way too soon! My son will always come first and that means I cannot devote all my time to a man especially when just getting to know him. Is this wrong?! I have also started a business myself and am watching it grow. That takes time and commitment as well, but like they say, good things come to those who wait, and I definitely believe in that logic. I use it to express myself and it's helped me get through a lot of hard times. I LOVE going to local shows, big outdoor concerts, and festivals. I hate being seated in a stadium. I like all types of music but mostly anything with a good beat and lyrics that I can relate to. Call me a nerdy chick stuck in the 90's but my favorite band of all time is Garbage. I like to shake my booty to the "classics" Country is great for long car rides which happen to be one of my other favorite things! Nothing like having no destination and just seeing where the road takes you. That's pretty much how I live my life and that's what I mean when I say "free spirit". I'm a great mom and put my son first, but I'm also spontaneous and never know what's really going to happen from day to day. I don't like having a set plan because my plans seem to always fall through for some reason. So, if you see where the day (week, year, or life in general) takes you, it's much better to be pleasantly surprised by what happened rather than disappointed by what didn't happen. Does that make sense?! I've been called "the fun mom" by my friends and I think it's because of this philosophy. I want my son to be who he is. I don't have some grand plan for him. I set boundaries but I let him express himself and be a kid. =)Hmm...Favorite shows? Breaking Bad, Weeds, House... I don't watch much tv though but sometimes I catch an episode of 2 Broke Girls, Shark Tank, and real forensic shows, not the "CSI" ones. Netflix is great! I love movies. Haha Weird combination, huh?! ;-) something outdoors and funcoffeea drink or 2, not a night of drinking lol

Got mixed reviews about this site....lets see how it goes... I have no kids and I have never been married. I work for a foster care agency and I really like my job. I have a lot of goals that are career oriented but if I told you about that now, we couldnt talk about it later. I enjoy reading, shopping, listening to music, watching movies, and going out with friends. I am not into the club thing but a nice dinner and maybe some drinks is good for me. I am pretty low key. I am not high maintenance but I do demand some attention and reciprocity. If you only want a relationship on your own schedule then its not going to work between us. I tend to go for guys who are clean cut (that doesnt mean clean shaven but just make it look nice and not like you just stumbled in from a crazy weekend), tall guys (taller than me), and guys who are good listeners. Common sense and a sense of humor are a must. *****UPDATE*****I have grown pretty disappointed in the calibur of men here. (Ladies also...I have heard stories!!) Do you really approach women like this? What happened to showing some regard? Is it because we are utilizing online sites that you lose your manners? If the answer is yes, I strongly suggest your evaluate your relationship with the important women in your life. If a man came to your mother, aunt, sister, daughter, etc and said "oooo girl gimme yo number. I'll show you a real good time" (I am actually toning down what I get), would you be upset? You'd be ready to clock someone's jaw right? Please remember that I am someone's daughter, sister, friend, and maybe someday someone's mother. Please keep this mind the next time you message something disrespectful. I realize that I may sound bitter but that is not my intention. I'm just trying to raise awareness. As if anyone actually reads this little box. I'm slightly anti this "about me" box. I feel like listing what I do/don't want makes me sound pretentious, although it seems to be quite an efficient way of meeting ppl that might actually have potential.
