I am a bit of a gamer, not really hardcore, but I enjoy most adventure or rpg style games. I've played a little bit of halo, which I've enjoyed, as well as Left 4 Dead. I still play pokemon, and most of my current gaming consoles are nintendo, though I have been toying with the idea of getting a playstation 4 when I have the extra funds to do so. I love Marvel comics and pick some up, and/or read them when I can; I also very much enjoy superhero movies and shows; am currently watching Agents of SHIELD, and Arrow, and enjoyed watching the Avengers movies as well as most batman movies, (I think we can all agree that Batman and Robin is the weakest of all superhero movies).I am a writer, currently working on two novels, one of which is co-written by two of my friends. I am also an equestrian and dog lover; I love being around horses and dogs, and working with them. I also really enjoy camping and being in the outdoors. I also have a great interest in mythology and fairy tales.One of my main goals is to become a Celtic Archaeologist. I love the fieldwork involved in Archaeology and Celtic history is one of the few that can still hold my interest enough to research thoroughly. While I do love most history, I've found myself getting a little bored with most European, and all of Canadian, history after learning about it pretty much every day from grade 1 to 12. Celtic history is still new and exciting to me. I would also like to go back to Romania; I spent five weeks of a summer there on a dig in the Carpathian mountains and it was, quite honestly, one of the best times I've ever had. Some day, I would also like to make it to Cape Town in South Africa to watch great white sharks breach the surface. I am a country music lover. I do enjoy rock music as well as some contemporary music. I usually only enjoy rap music if there is some meaning behind their words, such as early Eminem, and I absolutely hate Ke$ha. What I look for in a first date is going somewhere we can talk or hang out; coffee shop or a pub, or even just a walk along a trail or by a lake. I'm not overly picky about where to go or what to do, just so long as I get a chance to know the person I'm with. It may take me a little bit to talk, so don't be concerned if I don't say anything at first, I'll start talking about myself once I get a bit of a read on you.
