Woman. 49 years old. Zodiac sign: Libra.
Looking for: man. In age: 46-56
I have moved over to another dating site. (the "okay" one with the cherub who uses an arrow :***Please - I prefer you find me there since the questions on that site really help me know some important things about you.Hello – I am Julie and I am embarking on a new chapter in my life. My goal is to fill the rest of my years with the joyful experiences and passion. So far, so good!**DISCLAIMER** I believe in absolute honesty – so you should know I am separated and not yet divorced due to healthcare coverage reasons. I plan to have that issue buttoned up by the end of ***so I can proceed with the technicalities of a divorce. My ex moved out well over a year ago and lives in another state. I have a great family and circle of friends who give me strength and love and happiness when I need it most. I return the favor as often as possible. I have three great daughters who mean the world to me and I am very close to each of them. My two oldest are grown and gone- mostly :***but I am raising my 15 year old full time. I stay busy with her activities, but can always find time to meet new friends and my hope is for one of those friendships to grow into the great relationship I know is out there for me.I love simple beauty like a raindrop (not all that simple, really) to elaborate and calculated expressions of beauty like a Mozart concerto. I can be pretty intense and deep when it’s right but I can also kick back with the cowboys eating peanuts out of their shells and drinking beer (minus the beer for me – I stick to sweet, girly drinks) and telling way off color jokes. And just about everything in between. I love music (most genres) and theater and comedy and even trashy TV. I’ Hillbilly Hand-fishing to Downton Abby. I just love to be entertained and am not often too snobby about it, except I don’t think I’d enjoy NASCAR or dirt bike racing…but I’ll try just about anything once.I lean to the left politically and fall into a spiritual but not at all religious category. I tend to be kind of conservative, though, in business and style, so I am kind of an oxymoron. (Emphasis on oxy – not on moron.) Mention the stupid Moron joke in your message to me to tell me you are serious enough about this process to at least read my profile completely. I am not all that interested in becoming a long term penpal here, though I think a few nice get-to-know-you messages are in order before meeting. Then maybe a meeting for coffee or something casual so we can get a feeling for whether or not there is even chemistry…which is pretty important. Then we can become penpals. :) Just kidding. And seriously, after too many surreal experiences here I need to say that I get that this is an online site, but if you want our first conversations to be centered on sex talk, just pass me by. Till then try to remember how you'd want your daughter to be treated on this site. Coffee or drinks and if things go well, maybe a comedy club. No better way to see if you have a match than to see if you share a sense of humor!

Looking for: man. In age: 45-55
I am an independent woman who is looking for an independent man. I love to travel...go to the beach...try new things (hey, that is why I'm on here I'm trying new things...lol). I love to cook so I am always trying new recipes...some turn out GREAT and some you wouldn't even feed your dog. I love honest people...even if it hurts. I am honest to a fault and if you can't handle that, don't reply. I am a glass half full kinda girl - you only have one life so live it! Everybody at this age has been through their own crap, leave it at the door. You just have to find a way to move on, life is too short. Btw way I love to fish...ride go carts and just live life one day at a time. I love lazy Sundays...watching movies...ordering take out.. no make up...pony tail and pjs all day. :) I love college football, hanging out, family, friends and always up for a new adventure. Oh, and by the way, please do not IM me and asking me what I'm wearing...REALLY??? I mean come on, I'm sitting in front of a computer...probably not at my best and I do not usually get all dressed up to for that occassion. :)and I'm probably not the girl for you if:1. You have ex issues...consult your therapist.2. You have to have a cooler of beer, just to go to Wal-3. I hate comb overs...just shave it.4. You have to brag about how much money you have (you probably have none).5. You do drugs, don't reply.6. You don't have a job...don't reply. But have no doubt, I can pay MY own way! 7. Your pics are 10 years and 50 lbs ago, again don't reply. 8. You have to be drunk to meet me, again consult your therapist. 9. You're lookin for an intimate encounter....aka...married.....again, don't reply!10. You're under 30...not looking to adopt a kid.And that is ME! There maybe plenty of fish in the sea but not enuff KEEPERS... Coffee, drinks or just meet at the park...all I know is if nothing else I have made a new friend.)Please don't send me hate mail. I'm not bitter...lol. I do have a warped sense of humor though. :) If you spend your time sending people hate mail...how are you ever gonna catch that fish :)~~~

About me: well, let's see. I'm going to describe myself using words only. Some words may contradict others, which means that I'm not perfect; I hope this doesn't discourage you from getting in touch and messaging me. Here we go: romantic; sexy; intelligent; fit; direct; problem-solver; down-to-earth; kind; honest; loyal; generous; supportive; arty; fun; playful; kooky; silly; risk-taker; courageous; disciplined; determined; stubborn; tough; vulnerable; cautious; optimistic; serious-minded; focused; balanced; approachable; friendly.About him: what am I looking for in a man?Well, let's see. Someone who shares the same characteristics listed above including contradictions. Someone who loves and accepts me just as I am.Love, peace and best wishes for everyone in their search for "the one". You can tell a great deal about a person just by the way they carry themselves. And, first impressions are incredibly signficant.First date, let's see. It's probably best to keep things simple.I'd like to meet you for a coffee, or a tea at my favorite coffee joint in mid-town TO. If the conversation flows naturally, and the sparks are flyin' like crazy, we could go for a lovely long walk with my dog Georgie then grab a bite to eat: I hope you love sushi & sake. We'd continue talking, and getting to know each; we'd exchange phone numbers, and see what happens. If the above sounds too boring, then I'll leave it up to you to come up w/a more "excitng" plan.I'm saving my "exciting" plans for when we get to know each other better.
