First and foremost....I want to let everyone know that i happen to be Wiccan. Some people have a problem with that and i don't want to waste anyone's time especially mine. (If i ever grow up! :D) I attend school full-time and also work full-time, so i'm fairly busy. I'm willing to make time to get to know somebody interesting.I've been divorced for 13 years now. I've dated here and there, but have stuck to myself for the majority. My 9 year marriage was a tough one and i think that i've just been leary of getting close to anyone to have my heart stomped on again. I've decided that 13 years is long enough to be lonely. I'm looking for someone that i can be friends and go out with to start. If something clicks, we can go from there. I'm not the type of person to drag it out if i'm not interested. On my profile, i've listed that my body type is "a few extra pounds". I used to be slightly overweight and have been steadily loosing the extra pounds. I don't look fat...the height hides it well.And the "mixed hair" color comment is because i like to dye my hair different colors. Mostly it stays a bright red (as close to fire-engine red as work will allow). Sometimes i'll put black streaks in it. The list goes on and on. I also have a couple of tattoos and several piercings.Just to be clear on something...i don't do camping, hunting, etc. I love nature...just not an outdoorsy type person. If you do any of that a lot, then we're probably not compatible.Also, i usually only date guys taller than me. I know...i'm bad. I just feel weird being taller than my date. Pretty hard to talk about myself, I would rather communicate through conversation. I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I have a big family and honestly its hard to follow. About me.....I generally see the positive side of life and find it annoying when surrounded by naysayers. Ideally, I prefer to have small groups of people around and not larger parties. I love climbing, reading, hiking, movies....a variety of activities. I am generally quiet until I get to know someone. I would like a first date that involves being able to get to know each other. First dates are a great way to show your personality if they are interactive. The one thing it shouldnt be is a movie....how do you get to know each other sitting in a dark room staring at a screen? Some ideas would be playing games, playing pool, bowling, walking somewhere, hanging at a cafe.....it doesnt have to be an organized event, but something that involves communication.
