About Me

First and foremost....I want to let everyone know that i happen to be Wiccan. Some people have a problem with that and i don't want to waste anyone's time especially mine. I don't push it on others and i don't really talk about it unless someone else brings it up first. I don't like making people uncomfortable if they don't agree with my beliefs. I'm not evil...don't practice in the dark arts. Strictly a harm-none kinda girl.That said....I love anything supernatural/paranormal, such as vampires, werewolves, fairies, etc. Mainly books and movies. Favorite movie is Underworld. I collect fairy stuff. Big people person, but love my personal time as well. Outgoing personality most times. Tend to be shy when meeting someone new, but it doesn't take long for me to shine through (most of the time, anyway).I'm attending OTC to be a computer tech when i grow up. (If i ever grow up! :D) I attend school full-time and also work full-time, so i'm fairly busy. I'm willing to make time to get to know somebody interesting.I've been divorced for 13 years now. I've dated here and there, but have stuck to myself for the majority. My 9 year marriage was a tough one and i think that i've just been leary of getting close to anyone to have my heart stomped on again. I've decided that 13 years is long enough to be lonely. I'm looking for someone that i can be friends and go out with to start. If something clicks, we can go from there. I'm not the type of person to drag it out if i'm not interested. On my profile, i've listed that my body type is "a few extra pounds". I used to be slightly overweight and have been steadily loosing the extra pounds. I don't look fat...the height hides it well.And the "mixed hair" color comment is because i like to dye my hair different colors. Mostly it stays a bright red (as close to fire-engine red as work will allow). Sometimes i'll put black streaks in it. The list goes on and on. I also have a couple of tattoos and several piercings.Just to be clear on something...i don't do camping, hunting, etc. I love nature...just not an outdoorsy type person. If you do any of that a lot, then we're probably not compatible.Also, i usually only date guys taller than me. I know...i'm bad. I just feel weird being taller than my date.     I love music, either live or on the radio and love all types. I love watching sports, and yes I am a Cubs fan, sorry. I am involved with my girls whether it being school or just hanging out. They are a big part of my life, the reason I get up everyday and come first. And yes, I do have full custody of them! With that being said, they go to their father's every other weekend so that is when I have my most free time to hangout and get to know someone. I am very family orientated and would like to find someone who is also. Although they live about 5 hrs North, I try to make the trip at least once a month to see them. I love my job working with the geriatric population. I am a Triage nurse, M-F, and work with a great group of gals. I drink socially as my kids and their safety are important. I was in a marriage where alcohol became an issue so if you go to the bar a lot, keep looking. I appreciate honesty and will be upfront with you. I know what I want and am not afraid to voice it. I am looking for a one women guy as this has also been a problem in the past. I can only give respect if I get the same. I am not looking to relocate. I like the school system my girls are in. I like to play darts and bowl. I am no Barbie doll but not a BBW. Looks are not everything. Intelligence and humor can go along way. I am wanting to meet someone who loves to laugh at little things, who enjoys life, who isnt a bar fly, and likes to do things as a family. If you have children, thats great. I love children and treat others as my own. I am not wanting to take the place of their mother but will step up to be a role model. I enjoy one on one time in my spare time. I can tolerate texting but need that face to face communication. If this is a problem for you, then best off we go our separate ways. I value my free time and would like to spend it with someone who feels the same. I need a little heads up with making plans if during the week, but my weekends without girls are pretty open unless I am visiting my family.I have met some nice guys on here but if you don't have the time to get to know one another or hang out, then you might wanna keep looking.
