I do like to cook & seafood is my favorite.Personality wise, I am genuine, easy to talk to, direct, honest & usually smiling. I am fairly laid back, I guess that is just a by-..you kind of have to learn how to take it & dish it right back. So with that said, I like to have fun, can play & take jokes & it typically takes a lot to get a rise out of me. And strangely enough, after growing up completely surrounded by boys...underneath it all, I do have a sweet side...well...for a red head:-)I am looking for a good man, my soul mate & best friend whom I have undeniable chemistry with. He is a gentleman, loyal to the core, respectful, genuine and honest. He has a smile on his face most of the time, has a great sense of humor & knows how to have fun & make me laugh. He likes being outside, traveling & exploring new things & places. I want someone who is family oriented, or at least willing to jump in with my family. I'm looking for someone with a relaxed intensity: laid back, but at the same time knows what he wants & has the drive to go after it. I like a straight shooter, one that doesn't play games. I've spent a lot of the past year renovating and am now ready to start living again. I have a fabulous job which allows me a lot of time to travel. This past summer I traveled to BC as well as to Iceland. I'm just starting to plan my summer travel, maybe Spain and Portugal. Of course there will also be time for some cottaging and time with family up north. Really looking forward to being out on the boat, doing some fishing and relaxing. I enjoy staying active and try to get to the gym a few times week. I learned how to sail last summer and can't wait to get back on the water. I play beach volleyball down at Ashbridges in the summer and court in the winter. My friends are very important to me as my family is so far away and I don't get to see them as often as I'd like. I'm looking for someone to have fun with and who has a great sense of humour. My mother always told me that a sense of humour is one of the most important things to look for in a partner. My dad has a great sense of humour and has been keeping my mom laughing for over 40 years. I'd like to find someone who has good family values, is respectful, enjoys travel and adventure, and who is looking for a long lasting relationship. I'm a firm believer in "the little things".
