I have never seen so many women who claim to have advanced degrees in one place before. That's good because smart is sexy. I drive a very small car. Its not a Smart Car ( and if my car is reading this, I was not trying to insult you.) Finally, I try to make music as a past time. I own more guitars than I should and nobody ever hears me play them. Some of the popular music that I have had a particular affinity for over the years include: The Beatles, XTC, Yes, Genesis, etc., etc.I am big into history, particularly European history. That is not to say I am *part* of European history, but that I like reading about it and in my limited travels, I have always like seeing sites that were historical in some way. I am quite content to live in the 21st century though.While I have not traveled extensively outside the United States, I'm quite game to and have a few destinations in mind. And no, they are not all cold, damp, foggy European destinations. This is one of the advantages to working in the travel buisiness. One reason I have not traveled too much is for the lack of a traveling companion. That's where you come in! Well, that is one of the places you come in. Things about women that appeal to me: She's smart. She likes to laugh. She doesn't take life *too* seriously. She's cute. She is independent. Though tend to total my tee, I would like to go and have a drink. I would be open to suggestions though.

So, if you 'get me', you've got me.I am a strong believer in equal partnership. Gender roles and 'game playing' are not a part of how I see respectful adults acting towards each other. “Expectation is your biggest loss and anticipation is your greatest gain.”- words to live by. Although 'demure' sounds old fashioned, that quality in a woman appeals to me, along with a balance of some 'forwardness'. Sweetness is the beauty of the soul and I am drawn to that.I tend to be very accepting of others in a general sense, yet to be a match, there needs to be some commonalities. Getting to know another person well, in my opinion, requires an open and inquisitive mind, the ability to suspend rash judgment, and, among other things, the desire to compensate positive and negative traits (we all have them). I am willing to take the 'bad' with the 'good' as long as there is more goods. Ha! And so should we all.The remaining chapters of my life are yet unwritten. I have high hopes, big plans and great eagerness to fill them with amazing memories, exciting adventures and tender, comforting moments. These visions are designed for two.
