Well where to begin. First off I'm pretty damn amazing. That's confidence not being conceded, don't get it twisted. I'm pretty laid back, even when sh*tgets really tough you just have to roll with the punches and push on through. I'm extremely open minded, kinda the person who hears a new idea and actually thinks about it vs THAT IS NOT WHAT I WAS TAUGHT BURN THE WITCH! I'm a gamer/dork/nerd I'm into all forms of gaming, what can I say as part of the Nintendo generation its part of me. I work fulltime and a half so its been pretty hard to get out there and meet people so I figured I'd try this to see what happens. I'm mostly looking for something long term. I'm over the bar/party scene. However I do like going out, just not to the extent of getting totally trashed and waking up in someones bushes anymore (some funny stories behind that). I have no problem if you have kids, I love them, just have none of my own. I'm grounded as hell and work hard to provide for myself and those I care about. Main thing I'm really looking for is someone honest, easy to say hard to find sadly. I've been engaged twice and it never panned out. Sometimes that saying nice guys finish last is so cliche, but true. Mostly I just ask for total honesty, even if it hurts. Its always better to be hurt by the truth than to be comforted by lies. Music is the shit. No seriously, that stuffs awesome. I listen to a super wide range of things. I even make my own beats. I like to think of music as the blood of the soul. I'll listen to anything from country to jazz, or Mozart to heavy industrial. I respect music as a creative outlet. Even if I don't like it I respect it. Well, except for mainstream pop :P.I'm pretty open about everything, I love discussing/debating things from philosophy to politics. Granted most say those are the 2 things you should never talk about to friends or family. I disagree, if we can't have a free exchange of ideas we get locked into our own little closed in box of thinking. So yeah, I'm pretty terrible at writing these about me sections. If you're a fun loving, intellectual go get-er, or if you just have any questions/comments/etc just drop me a message see where things go. But seriously though something fun. Though sometimes fun is just having a few drinks and excellent conversation. Though fishing or laser tag is also good :)

First off, I still have a southern accent (more so when drinking for some reason...). That said....I am kind of a jack-all-trades, master of none type. I do a lot of things and am always interested in more. This description thing can really kill the first parts of a conversation... I'm not exactly shy and will answer just about anything. I'm old school in almost every way. I love kids....I think the toddler ages are the most fun - you know, where they want to help you with chores and such. They are just fun and happy....everything is a game to them at that point. I believe in a strong family and family first. Pets are great, although I'm much more a dog person than any other pet. And pet fish? Along the same lines as a plant - feed it and stare at it - more of a decoration than a pet...right? I'll try to add more to this paragraph later - and pics....I don't take many pics of myself.Activities: the bread and butter of living. I work, clean, cook, game, run, drive, etc. This list can go on for a really long time. Work is important to me as I get bored fairly easily with nothing on the plate for the day. I prefer a clean house and get embarrassed when I have company come over to say hello and the area is a mess. It is very easy to keep clean what you never allowed to get crazy. Except laundry.... I hate laundry. Not the washing and drying part, that's easy. The folding and putting it away part takes a lot longer and requires more finesse.- always makes a perfect fold. I enjoy getting crazy on things like dirt bikes, four wheelers, and wave runners. I prefer being in the woods and hunting, hiking, or camping over fishing at the river, but don't mind doing some fishing. I like the fight with the fish, not the taste of them.... Fishing on boat is cool too, but if I'm on a boat....two things: 1) that song and 2) I would rather swim with the fishies than fish for them. I'm not big on swimming in the ocean because of Jaws....and the water tastes horrible, but mostly Jaws. I play video games and much prefer the xbox controller over the playstation. I watch movies while eating cookie dough ice cream. I like pretty much all genres of movies except drama. Far too dramatic. ;-) I like to stay in shape....it sucks getting back into shape when you've slacked for awhile - moral: don't slack on it and it won't suck. Note to self: take own advice. I'm not a big fan of sleeping for long periods of time...its basically a waste of the day to me. If I sleep in, I lose hours of daylight and still feel as sleepy as I would have if I'd gotten up earlier. This is why coffee is so awesome! I can jam out to rock or mainstream radio hip hop type stuff, but don't really like rap or most country music....and I jam doing just about everything - always while cooking! A radio or tablet playing tunes is a must have for every kitchen! I sing in the shower...sometimes. Okay, often. This has kind of turned into an awkward rant where I feel like I'm talking to the wall....so, moving on.My goals are pretty simple. Live as happy a life as I possibly can. The trick is that I choose to be happy, not having something or someone making me so. My job, for ***, is physically demanding and I love it. You know that old saying "home is where the heart is" don't you? I can have a house and life anywhere, I choose to make it my home though. I've been all over the world and don't necessarily want to return to some places, but most I do...just to visit. Financial goals are also simple; make more than I spend. Sure it'd be nice to not have a car note, mortgage, credit card bills, -cough- taxes, or whatever, but it isn't an absolute necessity to live. I'm plenty happy enough with a vehicle to drive, roof over my head, and food on my plate. I would like to go back to college and finish a degree in the very near future. And finally, finding that special someone to enjoy life with. Its not that this takes the back burner to any and everything else, it is just the only goal that does not have a clear cut path. It'd be purely awesome to know someone that made me smile just by walking into the same room. Someone that intrigued me just by being herself. Its not too much to ask for someone to love me for me and myself doing the same for her....is it? o.O is it? An ideal first date would be filled with laughter. A great date is fun and exciting...something that makes a lasting impression. I can't list off ideas and give my plans away to whole world now can I? The place and activity do not much matter to me, as long as we both have a good time. Dating is supposed to be fun after all...
