A day without music in it just isn't complete so I'm usually listening whenever I can. Preferences include (but are certainly not limited to***'s, 70's, 80's, or most anything by the artists from those decades, and "newer" country. Have even been known to listen to classical occasionally. It's not so much about what label is applied to the music, but rather, does it touch me in some way?I have a great job in a field that I enjoy (most days - lol!!) That said, it does not rule my life or consume my every waking moment. I can be shy and quiet or out-going and talkative, always fun-loving, happy, independent, and a down-to-earth person who doesn't require a lot of to be satisfied. Spending time at the mall or shopping is NOT what I consider a pastime. Shopping is a necessary evil - unless it's at Home Depot. The things I've achieved in my life haven't always come easily, yet I believe that the hard work, difficult times, and perseverance have made me a stronger and (hopefully) wiser person and I'm happy with where and who I am. Although I don’t need someone in my life to be happy, I do miss having that special man to share all of life’s experiences with – both the everyday events and the special moments. The person I’m looking for is someone who treats others with honesty, respect, and integrity, and is accepting of others and their beliefs. Or simply put, a man who treats others as he would like to be treated.
