I have traveled to the Cook Islands which was absolutely stunning! I have been to Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan, Cabo, La Paz (did a 1 week scuba diving trip when I was younger and it was amazing). I definitely see more travel in my future.I am financially secure so I am not looking for someone to "take care of me." Just hoping to share life's moments with someone special.You should be someone who doesn't complain about all work and no play. We have choices in life. You can either talk about what you want to do or you can go and do it.You should be someone who isn't afraid to communicate, show intimacy, who can hold my hand or give me a hug just because, be honest (this is huge for me...I don't have tolerance for anything less than complete honesty), be committed to a relationship should we decide to go that route. At this stage of our lives, of course people have a past and I accept that, but hopefully your past is in the past and it isn't additional drama for the present or future.Am I looking for a long-term relationship? Sure...if it's with the right person. I haven't given up on finding that special person to share my life with. I look forward to another chapter in my life. Who knows....maybe it's with you?! What a gorgeous summer we have had! My oldest son is 21 and is out on his own. My youngest son is 15 and is my partner in crime. They are crazy funny and we laugh constantly at our house. I have decided to spread my wings a little and pursue one of my dreams which involves working with wildlife and to do so will be heading back to school for a degree in wildlife management. My children are my animals (4 dogs, 4 cats and a horse) and they are a large part of my happiness in life. And yes...two of my pups do sleep in my bed. I am a lover of music (all but head banging heavy metal and hard rap), enjoy singing and think I might still be able to play the piano if I could get my hands on one.As you can tell from above I enjoy anything that is outdoors for the most part. Camping, fishing, hiking, horseback riding, boating, sailing, windsurfing, swimming, skiing, canoeing, softball, horseshoes, cycling, motorcycles, tennis, skeet shooting, snow skiing and the list goes on and on. I am an avid dart player (steel-tip) and have played competitively for the past 15 years. Enough of the specifics now down to the nitty gritty....Most would describe me as loyal, optimistic, loving, big heart, empathetic, hardworking, goofy, silly, sometimes hardheaded, and determined. I enjoy making people smile and laugh and helping others to succeed when they are willing. At the same time I enjoy being around people who are positive and not constantly drowning themselves purposely in the drudgeries of life. I have traveled that road and have learned that focusing on the negative only takes you further down. I have an aversion to spending too much time with those who are judgemental and criticising of others. Learning from experience when you fall in that trap of judging others one cannot grow within...and it becomes a crutch and suffocator of happiness in life. I prefer to be with real people. I know that sounds funny...all people are real..right? People who are true to themselves. Those are the ones who will be true to you. Again...learned from experience. Enough for now.
