Here's my story: I was married for nine years, then in a relationship for nine years, so I know what I want and don't want, and I definitely don't want anybody's time being wasted, not yours, not mine. With that being said, I am looking for a life companion and partner who is ready to build a life and start a family together based upon traditional values, not just someone to spend free time with, but rather someone who will share his interests and hobbies and who will share my interests and hobbies. I am passionate about my interests (I am passionate period), and I especially love music and yoga, as both keep me centered. Some of my favorite music includes The Beatles, The Who, Eminem, Kid Rock, Bob Seger, and Alanis Morisette. I also love practicing my basketball moves and shots (I have potential....and some even like my style!), hitting softballs (I do really well in the batting cage!......and cute attire!), playing pool (I can hold my own), taking walks, bike riding, and travelling. While I am passionate about my interests, I also try to maintain balance in my life and try not to sweat the small stuff, so I love to laugh and I can laugh at myself.The most important aspects of a solid relationship to me include communication, honesty, loyalty, and a good sense of humor. Since the success of any relationship remains contingent upon effective communication skills, my significant other must be willing to communicate when situations arise. Honesty and loyalty remain equally important for obvious reasons. And a good sense of humor makes everyday life fun and interesting.I highly value my family and friends and am grateful to have them all in my life. I am the youngest of four siblings and have very strong ties to them and to my parents. I am very family oriented and require the same from my life partner; if you definitely don't want kids or are not sure if you want kids, then I am not for you. I appreciate a good man who can appreciate a good woman, and who can reciprocate all that is given to him in a relationship, both tangible and intangible. I am emotionally secure and ready to make the commitment, but am missing my life companion and partner with whom I can form a deep life-long connection. Lol-there seems to be MANY, MANY guys (to the point it's very strange), that are late 30's and early 40's (+), that are STILL in that "looking to date, but nothing serious" stage,,,,,for those, unless u've JUST come out of a longterm relationship,,,GROW UP;)-why is it that the majority of the black men on here feel that they need to literally state that they are black?!! What's the difference??!! It shouldn't matter, but there also should have to be a need to state the obvious either! Lol!-why do people on here seem to LUV takimg pics of themselves, with sunglasses on, inside?? (Ie:in their bathroom, sunglasses on, in front of their webcam, yep-sunglasses on...u get the point;)-most guys on here seem to think that "hi", simply 'hi",,,is starting a conversation, and is gonna get them somewhere on here,,it's not, lol. Nor is opening with something sexual in nature,,,,that, gets u deleted and blocked;)Will be adding to the list with future observations/comments I'm sure! IT'S ALL ABOUT THE CHEMISTRY BABYYYYY!!!!!
