I am a recent breast cancer survivor and with that I have learned about what things in life are really important to me: a sense of humor, family, strong sense of self and someone who takes care of themselves. I am pretty active and enjoy running 5ks. While breast cancer slowed me down briefly it didn’t stop me. I am getting back into running and I look forward to trying other new activities. Between work and being a mom, my schedule can be kind of complicated but I do have free time. When I do, I enjoy going out and trying new foods. Disclaimer: I am not much of a cook but make a mean frozen pizza and don’t do the club scene as I’ve retired all of my spandex pants. I also enjoy more low-key activities such as staying in and watching movies. My child is my number one priority.
