I have always said that with the amount of time that I spend on *** dating sites that I could write several books. To that end I have begun to write again, so you will have to find me. I will still check for ***, but I will not be actively searching the profiles. I will not ask you to read or edit my writing (at least not until the first draft is complete :)). Albert Einstein said the mysterious was the most beautiful thing that we could experience, but I think it might be true love. Love can be a mysterious thing so perhaps Einstein was on to something. This link is for a profile that I read that was interested in permaculture; *** I find this kind of thing fascinating and hope to find the time to build some of these types of projects.Ideally I am looking for passionate lover, loyal friend and confidante whom I can forge a strong bond with, a bond such that it will last a lifetime, so that one day, when we are perhaps into our hundreds, we will be able to look back at a rich and rewarding relationship. Ultimately it all begins with that first contact and starting out as friends. If there is one thing that I have learned about relationships, it is that they can start out of left field and sometimes when you least expect it, so I am open to possibilities and always willing to risk a conversation over coffee or a meal in a public place .An attitude that is playful, mischievous and a tad sarcastic is what I find most attractive. Second to that (I know this sounds kind of contradictory)is a nurturing and loving disposition. If you are genuine and down to earth it will get my attention more than anything else. It would be a bonus if you can play a fiddle or piano or guitar or can sing, but unfortunately it may complicate things because I will most likely fall in love the first time I hear you play I have always been very independent and a bit shy and when I was younger I always did things by myself very spur of the moment. These days I make a concerted effort to plan and get out and do things with friends and try to expand my social circle. You would most likely find me at the movie theatre, but watching a video at home with someone special would trump the theatre any day. Supper or lunch, either at home or out, is always a great way to relax and get to know someone. I am single, never been married or in any kind of long term living arrangement nor have I ever had a one night stand. I consider myself to be spiritual, but not a religious freak (although I once contemplated becoming a religious freak ) A friend of mine recently said that I have no ego. I think if it is true, it is because I have seen some hard times and find solace in the fact that things always work out in the end. A boss of mine once said that if I was any more laid back they would have to check to see if I was breathing.I have lost some friends and family both young and old these past few years and it has led me to make some changes towards achieving my dreams. You have been officially forewarned :).I liked these quotes on love from kids;'Love is like a little old woman and a little old man who arestill friends even after they know each other so well.' Tommy - age 6 'You really shouldn't say 'I love you' unless you mean it. But ifyou mean it, you should say it a lot. People forget.' Jessica - age 8 Good luck in your search. This site would not let me update my profile without a one word description of my personality. I chose rockstar which would be my alter ego, lol. Laid back would be the best description. In my case laid back is not synonymous with lazy :)A coffee seems the best place to start. A walk in the park is always good for conversation too. Perhaps go skating.
