About Me

I like to laugh and have fun. I know that sounds silly because I mean who doesn't. However, I just hate taking life to seriously. I like finding humor in everyday things. I like to listen to all types of music. Especally music I can sing along too and show off my amazing singing skills. I am currently a reading teacher and love it. Hoping to find someone who can handle my sarcasm. Someone who can dish it as much as they can take it. I think that’s what really makes life interesting. I mean if you take life too seriously, I hear you won't get out alive!Anything fun where you will be able to talk.

ABOUT MEFriends love the sound of my laugh! When others talk, I'm really listening and meditation has made me patient and centred. I always live from a place of integrity and I am sentimental: I remember people's birthdays and love celebrating their milestones and achievements. For a friend's special occasion recently I booked the best table at a well-reviewed restaurant and ensured it was a cool foodie experience with special appetizers and dessert. Travel and adventure are very big with me and Bali is my favourite place that I have visited so far. I found it stunning both physically and spiritually. I'm happy in nature as well as in five-star hotels. Can you ever feel more alive than galloping a horse down a beach, then riding right into the rolling waves? That was a lovely experience! Sharing my skill in massage makes me as happy as the recipient of that expertise: especially when it is someone special...If we are right for each other, you and I will expedite each other's life missions, manifest our biggest dreams, and strive to male the world a better place. Our love will feel like a gift from the gods and a blanket of sunshine for us to snuggle in.ABOUT YOUEngaged and aware, you have and intense curiosity about life. You appreciate a little witty wordplay and you like to see the response your compliments inspire in your beloved. When you ask me how I'm doing, you really want to know. You can speak straight form your heart and you crave the contact of a relationship as much as I do, both in physical touch and communication. There is a lot of latitude in your life for vacations and fun. You would love to explore another continent in depth with your ideal travelling companion( me?!) If our flight gets cancelled and we are detained from our much-needed getaway weekend, you can laugh about it and won't tear into any helpless employees. You enjoy the outdoors( cycling and hiking) and also adventurous stuff like kayaking and scuba diving. On a night out we might go to a hockey game, hot new restaurant or a concert( my musical tastes are about as broad as it gets). We'll be each other's life witnesses and touch points when something important is occurring. When you turn your compelling gaze on me, I'll feel the fabulous comfort of knowing that I mean the world to you.I like to go out for dinner and have a real experience together...I never regret this whether we want to pursue it or not.SPECIAL NOTE: I have been on this site for quite some time with lo-o-ong periods of inactivity. If you messaged me because you REALLY thought we were a match and I didn't respond please message me again.NEW NOTE: I am seeking someone who is financially"mature" as I am i.e. you can afford a home and vehicle, appreciate fine,"foodie" dining and can take us out sometimes, and have the wherwithall to travel with me regularly to various places on the planet(near and far). I am at a place in my life where this matters!!TRUTH,HONEST COMMUNICATION AND PASSIONATE INTEGRITY ARE ESSENTIAL!! BE HAPPY!! :-)**I AM ON VACATION FOR A GOOD CHUNK OF THE SUMMER SO MAY NOT RESPOND QUICKLY.**My first career was in music so I am very much into being surrounded by sounds of various types! I love the song birds outside the kitchen window, catching a set at The Rex/Dominion or seeing a friend play at a local bar/cafe. I have so many great memories and a few are: Keith Jarrett at Roy Thomson Hall,Annie Lennox At Massey Hall, Janet Baker at RTH,Gordon Lightfoot backstage at a friend's acoustic concert, the Mormon Tabernacle choir in SLC,Dave Brubeck at the Downtown Jazz Fest ***,Gamelan ensembles everywhere in Ubud,Bali...seeing so much local talent when they play smaller venues like THe 'Shoe, my first time seeing the late great Jeff Healey at The El Mo, Elvis Costello always,Bruce Springsteen always because he gives it to the max every performance, Neil Young at the CNE, Nick Cave just because,Arcade Fire because they are just so inventive and yet so humble...there really is too much so that is all for now(!!)

I am an honest hardworking country girl at heart, with a great sense of humour. Being a country girl at heart doesn't mean that I don't like to have fun or that I'm a straighto, to me it means that I have been raised by my parents (who have been married 52 yrs) to have fantastic old fashioned morals & values, to be honest & to have respect. I love spending time with my animals and prefer to be actively outdoors & I love all types of music & seeing live bands is a favourite. Training horses & natural horsemanship are a couple of my passions & I have broken my own horse in, who now has a foal that I am thoroughly enjoying teaching new things every day.I believe life is too short to dwell on the past & the future is what you make of it. I come with no baggage & I don't mind if you have a little overnight bag, but no big suitcases please. haha. I enjoy most sports and am usually the one at BBQ's kicking the ball or playing cricket and can be found watching the V8's on occasions (one of my best holidays was 5 days camping at Bathurst for the big race). I am well educated and have a great job, but I don't believe that what a person does for a job is important and am not a materialistic person. I don't mind a bit of hard work & getting my hands dirty and am always outdoors doing something involved with the upkeep of an acreage property, I am also capable of being quite a lady who can look fantastic in a dress & heels! (just far more comfortable in jeans & riding boots). Haha. I love my life & all that I have achieved in it, but now I am missing someone to share it with. I remember what it was like to be in love & am more than ready to have that feeling again. To be able to have those butterflies everytime I think about him; to look across a crowded room at each other & share that same longing feeling of being with each other; to be able to look into each others eyes & get lost in the moment; to be able to laugh & cry with each other & feel as one. There are many other things that come with being in love & I am hopeful of finding someone to share those & create some new ones with.Ideally, the person I am searching for will be respectful & a good communicator, honest, social & outgoing, a lot of fun, have a good sense of humour & have an easy going nature. He must be able to show & receive affection in front of friends & be respectful & non-judgemental. A love of animals is one of the most important attributes he must have, because I have my own little zoo (well, almost). haha.Probably not a walk on the beach or a meet for coffee, like everyone else. ***, let's meet up for 18 holes on the golf course or at the driving range. Or maybe a hit of tennis (which I haven't played for a while now, so you are bound to win). haha.If there is a spark, on the second date, I would pack a really nice picnic lunch into a basket, add a couple of beers & a bottle of wine and find a perfect spot beside a running creek (which isn't quite hard to find these days). If my date was a capable rider (motorbike or horse), the picnic would be packed into the side of the saddle bags and we could make a day of it.
