Hi there! I am looking for a partner in life! I have never been married (haven't found the right one) and haven't given up on that dream. I am active and seeking someone who works out fairly regularly and who enjoys eating healthy. A running/biking/kayaking partner would be nice!I enjoy great conversation with people who can tolerate the ideas of others. I enjoy people who care about and keep informed about what's going on in the world. I am outgoing and straightforward, affectionate, fun and spontaneous, and been told intelligent and cute! :-) Honestly, I am terribly unphotogenic and I rarely have a picture I even like of myself. I have three dogs that you have to at least tolerate. They are why I run a lot... they are high energy! Oh, and they don't come "first" when there's someone special around! lol I love children but prefer a man without full custody so he has time for us. I hope this describes me sufficiently for now. I hope to hear from you! Here's some important basics for what I'm hoping for in a guy: ***years old, non-smoker, NO DRUGS, moderate and fun drinker (NOT alcoholic or all the time!), healthy lifestyle, and not newly divorced, separated or MARRIED. A guy who is on the same page as me about the importance of being FRIENDS FIRST and isn't looking to jump into the sack just because we had a few good dates. Relationships and true love take time. I love and believe in God (Jesus), and don't see it working if you don't. I'm non-denominational- the Bible is what's important. This has become increasingly important to me as I get older.I've dated on here enough to know that if a guy's pictures are in the distance, look much younger than their age, no full body shots, no pics without a hat/cap, or blurry or profile only pics are something to be skeptical about. Please just show the real you... like i did. Saves us both precious time knowing we look like our pics. Hope you understand. :DNothing deep... just a meeting for a drink to see if we want to go out again.

I am an honest hardworking country girl at heart, with a great sense of humour. Being a country girl at heart doesn't mean that I don't like to have fun or that I'm a straighto, to me it means that I have been raised by my parents (who have been married 52 yrs) to have fantastic old fashioned morals & values, to be honest & to have respect. I love spending time with my animals and prefer to be actively outdoors & I love all types of music & seeing live bands is a favourite. Training horses & natural horsemanship are a couple of my passions & I have broken my own horse in, who now has a foal that I am thoroughly enjoying teaching new things every day.I believe life is too short to dwell on the past & the future is what you make of it. I come with no baggage & I don't mind if you have a little overnight bag, but no big suitcases please. haha. I enjoy most sports and am usually the one at BBQ's kicking the ball or playing cricket and can be found watching the V8's on occasions (one of my best holidays was 5 days camping at Bathurst for the big race). I am well educated and have a great job, but I don't believe that what a person does for a job is important and am not a materialistic person. I don't mind a bit of hard work & getting my hands dirty and am always outdoors doing something involved with the upkeep of an acreage property, I am also capable of being quite a lady who can look fantastic in a dress & heels! (just far more comfortable in jeans & riding boots). Haha. I love my life & all that I have achieved in it, but now I am missing someone to share it with. I remember what it was like to be in love & am more than ready to have that feeling again. To be able to have those butterflies everytime I think about him; to look across a crowded room at each other & share that same longing feeling of being with each other; to be able to look into each others eyes & get lost in the moment; to be able to laugh & cry with each other & feel as one. There are many other things that come with being in love & I am hopeful of finding someone to share those & create some new ones with.Ideally, the person I am searching for will be respectful & a good communicator, honest, social & outgoing, a lot of fun, have a good sense of humour & have an easy going nature. He must be able to show & receive affection in front of friends & be respectful & non-judgemental. A love of animals is one of the most important attributes he must have, because I have my own little zoo (well, almost). haha.Probably not a walk on the beach or a meet for coffee, like everyone else. ***, let's meet up for 18 holes on the golf course or at the driving range. Or maybe a hit of tennis (which I haven't played for a while now, so you are bound to win). haha.If there is a spark, on the second date, I would pack a really nice picnic lunch into a basket, add a couple of beers & a bottle of wine and find a perfect spot beside a running creek (which isn't quite hard to find these days). If my date was a capable rider (motorbike or horse), the picnic would be packed into the side of the saddle bags and we could make a day of it.

Well I decided that my profile was pretty boring, so I deleted the whole thing and now I face the daunting task of being witty and keeping your interest for more than 2 sentences. lol Let's see, what can I say about me...I'm a 42 year old single girl and I've been certifiably dorky my whole life. I was born in Michigan and lived there for about 7 years before I moved to Seattle, Washington where I lived for the next 28 years. Seattle is truly my home. I've been in Elk Grove, California for the last 7 years and I've made a few great friends here, but its still very challenging to get out there and get to know people. I have a partial sight disability, so that limits me a bit in what I can do, but I love to challenge myself. I go to school where I have been taking business classes and doing volunteer work. Some of my hobbies include being dorky (did I mention that already?) enjoying old technology ( I still listen to cassettes and watch vhs movies) anything from the 80's and running a Madonna fan club. (Yes, they still have fan clubs out there, lol) I love to write and blog, geek out about a variety of interests and especially mosey and meander. Okay, I've probably scared most of you away by now, but if you think I could be a kindred spirit in dorkiness you should waste no time in writing me. Include an 80's reference for bonus points. ;)A movie (especially IMAX or 3-d) or a great lunch somewhere cool like the spaghetti factory is always fun, meetup at the bookstore and chit-chat or take a walk in this wonderful weather!Or how about some crazy grocery shopping???
