I was a single mom for about 17yrs. I've done a pretty good job of rearing four great kids, three girls and one boy. I have six precious grandkids too. My family is important to me, not only my children but also my Mom and siblings (I have one sis and 3bros.) We are all very close-knit, and they are my life line. (I couldn't have survived without them) My kids are all grown now and I find myself wanting to get out and about, but movies, dinner, concerts are better when you are not alone. I enjoy walks in the outdoors (who doesn't?), browsing flea markets and antique shops. I've been camping on the beach, and I enjoy the mountains as well.I tend my little flower gardens and window boxes. I enjoy a quite afternoon fishing, as long as someone baits the hook for me. I like to listen to most types of music, love outdoor concerts and events. My favorite movies are comedies, the classic ones best . I watch tv or read when I'm at home. I own my home and I'm always doing this and that to it. That just about sums it up...I'm not very adventuresome but I will try new things. ( as long as they're non-high risk). I've never played golf or tennis, rode a horse, or planted a vegetable garden. I'm sure there are other things I've not done, that I'd like to learn. Thanks for getting to know about me...ARE YOU STILL AWAKE?!!On our first date we could meet for coffee and get to know each other a little. Coffee doesn't cost much so if we find we're not a match, then we've not lost much time or money invested. We can sit across from each other, and talk and look into each other eyes( they are the window to the soul, you know) I think that would be nice. I'm always open to suggestions.

What to say?!?!?? Ere goes 42 recently moved to Highbury from Bromley, got an amazing 22 year old son who is my not only my son but my best friend. I've decided it' s time to move into the next phase of my life and find a nice man to share it with . Are there any on this site? - I've been told I'm attactive, can hold an intelligent conversation without taking myself too seriously. I have to admit to being a very girly woman, love make-up, nice clothes, good perfume - in summary I just love being a woman!! I enjoy teaching papercrafting and have a couple of groups of ladies meeting at my house once a week - nice to have female friends but........ Love visiting historical buildings and museums, portrait galleries are wonderful, those people actually lived and loved and cried and laughed. Fascinating! Have travelled to the USA which I loved, especially The Smoky Mountains and of course New York. Was lucky enough to have visited Dubai having had friends working there (back home now!), along with the usual European countries.Am interested in geocaching (google it) which means a good walk in often undiscovered parts of our beautiful country with my dog. Great fun but it can get muddy and prickly but have the boots and waterproofs so no problem and it's worth it...Have 2 grown up children and 5 grandchildren that I adore (all grandparents say that don't they?) they try to keep me updated with music but prefer blues, soul and 60s, 70s and 80s. Love Coldplay though and have recently discovered Indie although as long as it's 'music' and not rap! I'll listen with an open mind...Basically, I enjoy life but would enjoy it more I think if I had someone to share it with. Would be nice to hear from you and as my parents taught me good manners I will always respond to messages.A coffee, drink or just a walk with the dog and see if there are mutual interests and a feeling we would like to meet again.
