About Me

Looking for a nice guy who is not allergic to cats and might even 'like' them! I do not want to date younger men, so guys under 55, don't ask! :) I’m just a ‘normal’ person who is trying to make a connection with someone that I have things in common with (being wildly attracted to him also wouldn't hurt), and not having much luck. That said, I love music (Classic Rock the most), movies, animals, my friends and anyone or anything that can touch my heart and soul. I'm smart, nice, fun to be with and slightly irreverent. I have a dry, sometimes silly and somewhat sarcastic sense of humor but it's never mean. I'm a little shy at times (so please write)! I 'normally' won't make the first move first! I say what I mean and I mean what I say. I don't believe in games, unless they're actually fun and everyone involved knows that they're playing. I'm generally a jeans kind of girl, but I also love to dress up. I'm youthful in outlook (still think going to a concert is the most 'fun' thing to do), honest, and I'm very loyal to people I love. I would like to meet someone who is fit, with similar interests and from same ' general area'. NOT interested in a LDR for many reasons and I really don't want to relocate further than the tri-state area...at least not right now. For me, spontaneity has to be ‘planned’. Although I'm getting tired of looking for the 'right one' (who for me would preferably be Jewish but not totally necessarily if everything else fits, and VERY close to my own age). I won’t settle just so that I won’t have to be alone. I wear my heart on my sleeve but try to keep my brain in my head. I have two young cats that I love and a 13-year-old diabetic kitty that I recently adopted and won't part with so if any of this is a problem, then I'm not the girl for you.Because so many men have asked, I’d love to remarry if the right person came along.
