Looking for: man. In age: 55-75
I don't want to measure my life by how many breaths I take , but, measure it by how many times I get my breath taken away. The sight of the beach , mountains, flowers, my grandkids, my family and hopefully that certain someone. Maybe you can take my breath away. When the radio is cranked up I am listening to oldies, classic rock, and country music. Spend time with my family and on my back patio enjoying good company, food and beverage. GO DAWGS.. Nascar.. Not afraid to get on back of a motorcycle. I am a good cook, mostly Italian, since I am ***Italian and ***French Canadian. Work only 4 day weeks so I can have long weekends..Would like to meet first for coffee, and if we both think there is something in the air go to dinner .

I am an outgoing boisterous social person, with a quiet introverted streak. I moved to Idaho a little over a year ago, and since I just bought a house, it looks like I'll be hanging around here for a while. Owning a home has been an experience so far. First morning I woke up to backed up sewer main. YAY! With my brother-in-law's help (or more accurately me assisting him) it got fixed. No breakdown crying over it here. All I could do was laugh and say to myself "welcome to home ownership". I've done some minor construction, lots of painting, and have so much more to do. My yard is a disaster... I have just under a half acre, and haven't tamed the jungle yet. If you by any chance look really good sweating doing yardwork, I wouldn't complain in the least. Just saying. I work for a company in CA, so I work from home. The dress code and the commute are great, but the potlucks rather suck now. I've had to forbid the cat from contributing anymore. And the dog is skating on thin ice. I'm a big reader... I usually read more in one year than most will read in their lives. I'll read anything that catches my fancy... however, I am mostly drawn to fiction because I love stories. Historical fiction in particular is fun. But, I don't limit myself, I've read almost every Louis L'amour book out there and over half the Danielle Steele (my parent's collections... pretty easy to see each person's taste). My humor ranges from goofy ridiculous, to warped and disturbed, and on over to cheesy and lame. I am pretty easy to entertain. Keeping a conversation going comprised of all bad puns is hilariously awesome. I love getting dressed up, love wearing dresses, heels, the whole 9 yards, but am also comfortable throwing my hair into a pony-tail, pulling on junk clothes and helping haul bricks or string up barbed wire. I have several tattoos, and have plans for quite a few more. Some women buy expensive purses, I decorate myself. I love nature and being in it. Listening to the ocean, or a stream/river is the best way to refresh the soul. I love learning about the world around me, and constantly am trying to learn anything I think is interesting, fun, or even just practical. I WILL be one of the ones surviving the zombie apocalypse. I have no kids of my own yet, but I love kids. I have worked with children in a variety of ways in the past, from daycare provider, to youth group leader, to teacher. I have some of my best times with kids. So, that being said, I am not at all nervous or reserved about dating a man with kids. If you'd like to discuss passive water heating systems, I am ready for that discussion! If debating the merits of peach fuzz are more your speed, I'm game for that convo too!Ultimately, I want someone who believes in real commitment. Who knows that life isn't all roses and sunshine, but believes in sticking around and sticking it out anyways.I want to find someone I can be affectionate with, give random kisses to just because I can, someone I want to leap into their arms out of sheer joy, or crumble into their arms when I am crushed. I want a partner, an equal, my best friend, my lover. Someone who is human, and may fail at times, but always tries their best. I don't want perfect... just right.A first date... as long as the two people show up in the same space, at the same time, and are able to interact and talk to begin to get to know each other, anything can be a good thing. Bowling... playing pool... lunch... dinner... coffee & a walk... I'm pretty open to what works in my world.
