About Me

I am a 45 year old divorced lady looking for someone who is tired of dating and would like to just be himself and be comfortable with a woman. I graduated from Ole Miss with a degree in English and minor in History. I then moved to Jackson and learned the legal business from the point of view of a paralegal. I loved my work and I think I was pretty good at it. On weekends, I enjoy watching my son play soccer and, to be honest, I can't resist any SEC game on TV. I am usually forced into being the grill master, but would invite someone to come in and take that over for me. I'm really low maintenance, but I do enjoy getting dressed up sometimes for a night out.On my first date with someone, what we would do would really depend on how well I felt I knew this person prior to meeting him. If I felt really comfortable, I'd meet him at a cozy restaurant and have appetizers and talk. Movies, I think, are for second dates when you don't have so much pressure between the two of you to get to know each other.

    Cute smiles are the best, especially from people you love. I never underestimate the power of myself in a stressful situation. 99.9% of the time I can find a way to either work it out or get past it. I love a good book, listening to music and writing. writing seems to be the only way I have ever been able to truly express myself. I now have embraced living life more openly and honestly, emotions sometimes on my sleeve. I believe heart is the best personality trait someone can have, it will get you further in life than you'd think. I will always go out of my way to befriend someone, you never know what may come of it, usually i end up making a lifelong friend. I trust too easily, and love too much. I have many insecurities but would never let anyone know. I love the little things in life, a good song, a good book, a good blanket, and a good person to talk to. I hope to travel to Italy, Greece, New Zealand and Scotland (again), although I hate flying. I fall too hard, and way too fast. Actions speak louder than words. and great moments never fade from memory. You are the one to make your own great moments. I don't depend on others to do that, I believe you make your own fate. Luck isn't something people are born with, it's something you have to believe is within yourself. The hardest part of life is not knowing, but you have to take risks. you never know the outcome but that's what makes it worth the risk... Not knowing. Depend on and believe in yourself.. I often trip myself to feel what it's like to fall, and hold my breath to feel my heart slow down. This is me, take it or leave it.hockey, football, baseball, rugby game? any sporting event, it takes a little pressure off the first date jitters. Go for a hike in the mountains... I love spending my summers at my cabin in B.C.
