About Me

I am bubbly, easy going, and laid back. I get along very well with people. I am a single mom and very independent. I am looking for someone to get to know and see where things go. If Im going to be honest I am not a sporty person at all. I am absolutely terrible at sports I cant throw or catch or anything like that but I do love to watch football. I often find myself getting distracted if Im out with friends somewhere and a game is on. I love animals unfortunately I live in an apartment that doesnt allow pets so the closest thing I have to a pet is fish. Im a little nervous around big dogs but as long as they let me warm up to them slowly I always end up loving them. As a single working Mom I dont have a ton of free time and its very important to me that anyone I may end up spending time with understands that my daughter comes first. Sometimes getting a babysitter just isnt possible and if Im not ready to introduce someone to her then I obviously am not always available to meet up. Protecting her is my main concern. I think its pretty safe to assume I spend alot of nights at home. Im not a bar goer, when I go out with friends I prefer to go to places where you can sit down and hang out, have a few drinks, and actually be able to have a conversation with the person across the table. Maybe a little bit of karaoke (if Im having a good night.) I am a responsible drinker I always know when I have hit my limit and when to stop. I dont do drugs and Im not intrested in being involved with anyone who does drugs. I dont like being around it and I do not allow it in my home or around my kid.     My family and friends are a large part of my life and very important to me so I spend most of my spare time with them. One of the biggest accomplishments in my life was completing college and being able to fulfill my dreams of being a T.A.     Oh hi there! Thanks for taking the time to scroll farther than my photos... I'll reward ya with a little bit of info about myself and if you like what you see, you should send me a message :) I describe myself as someone who is fun, confident, sarcastic, patient, caring, generous and creative... I am always interested to meet new people and really enjoy hearing about people's careers, families, vacation plans, and day to day life so expect lots of questions! I received my diploma in Child and Youth Care in April and have recently joined the working world as a Youth Care Worker at a group home for at-risk youth. I love it and it is something that I probably talk about too much! I am also a substitute Educational Assistant during the school year. One of my goals is to eventually go back to school to get a university degree and possibly a masters, but that will all come later! In my down time I can be kind of a homebody. I love to read and will lose track of time and spend hours with my nose in a good book. I do play a little bit of slo-pitch with friends during the summer. enjoy staying in and watching the Leafs, Riders or Jays play... And going for a patio drink or two is also a favorite summer past time. The bar scene has never really been my thing (I am a horrible dancer and have a personal space issue) but a lounge or pub with some friends is delightful. I am very close with my parents and extended family! I listen to almost anything when it comes to music but probably mostly country! Lots of random tidbits...
