About Me

So you'd like to know a little bit about me, eh? Well for starters, I'm a pretty average chick. I'm currently in my 2nd year of teaching 7th grade Language Arts, so every day is a new adventure! In my downtime I listen to most styles of music, catch a movie, grab a drink, play board games or video games, and/or hang out with my friends. I usually always have a book attached to me, and I also enjoy writing (it's the English major in me). Also, I love humor (especially in the form of "bad jokes", as my friends call them). I'm somewhat of a sarcastic person, but I know when to be serious. So what am I looking for? To be honest, up until recently I wasn't entirely sure. I've spent the past year doing a lot of growing, and I think it's safe to say that I'm ready to find someone in the present that has potential to make it into my future. I'm not looking for someone to go on a couple of dates and assume marriage is the end result, but I'm also not wanting just another fling. I want someone I can build a foundation of friendship with that has similar interests or is open-minded enough to try new things with each other. I don't have any criteria for physical traits, but I do want someone who is confident, kind to others, and someone who enjoys being spontaneous on occasion. I've been put through the ringer with my relationships these past couple of years, so be warned now...you'll have to work hard to impress me. But I can promise you that it's worth the effort! =) While I enjoy "long walks on the beach" as much as the next girl, I really enjoy just hanging out and getting to know a person more. I think it's key to form somewhat of a friendship before moving onto that next level, and in my opinion, a lot of relationships are missing that element. Some of my favorite first dates involve that initial friend vibe. For example, I love competitive things like mini-golf, pool/billiards, or go-karts. Once we've moved past the "getting to know you stage" I'm down for dinner and movie/tv.

Woman. 25 years old. Zodiac sign: Aquarius.

Looking for: man. In age: 22-32

I love to laugh, and I have an easy smile. I'm pretty laid back, I play guitar, I like outdoor adventures as much as cuddling up to a movie. I work hard, I always do my best, and regardless of what is going on in my life I keep an upbeat positive attitude. I consider myself educated and knowledgeable, and I find a reason to take an interest in most everything. I love to read and I like knowing how to fix my own car, I know my way around a tool box and I like to have reasons to get all dolled up. I feel like I have a lot to offer this world, and a special man. I am a single mother of two terrific boys, people see me and don't usually think "she's single." I am not unattractive, I don't eat fast food (usually), I love to cook and bake, I'm pretty domesticated as far as chores around the house. I'm not looking for someone to support me financially, I am able to care for my family just fine. Being as my sons have absolutely no fatherly influence, other than my dad, it's them I'm thinking about mostly. I need companionship too, but they need a role model more. Balancing my wants and desires with the needs of my boys is not difficult, they will always come first. But it is getting lonely. Haha, this just popped into my head, think corny announcer guy- " Have you always wanted a family, but have found yourself going without? Maybe you've been so busy that you woke up one morning and realized that time is running out? Try ***, the pre-conceived family that is sure to make your heart melt." On a serious note though, I am lots of fun, my children are behaved, and thousands of years of evolution is telling me that something is missing, there's a piece to the puzzle that's lost under the couch, and it's time to dig it out.

I'm a really easy going person. I enjoy doing all sorts of things as long as the company is good. I'm just looking to see where things go.

Where should I start? I'm Alana. I've been on meetville a few times before with no luck... obviously.I work at a doggie daycare as an attendant. I love my job! When I'm not working I'm watching Netflix, going for a walk, going to movies, spending time with my family who is very important to me, reading books, keeping up with the Seahawks, and I absolutely love to cook.I use cannabis to relieve my anxiety, depression and insomnia. This means I smoke almost every night. Sometimes I also smoke at parties. I use cannabis responsibly and I never drive while high, just like I never drive drunk.I am a positive person, and I do my best to find the silver lining in every bad situation. Sometimes it isn't easy, but I know nothing good comes from being negative all the time, I've learned that the hard way.My friends would say I'm generous, happy, independent, funny, smart, cute, and probably a little on the weird side. Nothing wrong with being weird though, gotta keep things interesting. I believe in the golden rule, "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." I didn't always think that way, but, I'd like to think I've come a long way from who I was, and I strive to be better than I was the day before. What do I look for in a man? -Honest-Trusting-Sense of humor-Reliable-LoyalI do my best not to judge anyone, because I don't want people to judge me. I treat my man like a king and in turn he should treat me like a queen. It doesn't mean buying everything I want, it means treating me with love, respect, and trusting me. Your best effort in using proper grammar and spelling will go a long way with me.I always have a hard time starting a conversation with someone new, so if you've gotten a notification that I'd like to "meet" don't hesitate to message me. :) :) Hmmm... Dinner is always a great way to get to know someone, if it goes well, a walk afterwards is nice. You could always just surprise me, I like surprises.
