About Me

I moved to Kelowna last summer, and love it here, one of the best decisions. I'm still really new to the area and enjoy finding new things to do here all the time. Hiking and surfing are two of the favourites. This my second time trying the site since I have been here and thought there is no harm in trying again on this site because you just never know where or how you will meet the ONE... Looking forward to the new changes that come with living in a new place. Plus not having to deal with the cold Sask winters anymore.... So if anyone wants to show me around sometime, shoot me a message...lolWould like to meet someone at the same point in their life as me. First off I should say I work out of town 8 days at a time, I do know that some people do not want that when dating. Just being straight forward about it, it will not be forever but it will be for the next couple of years. I have extra long weekends every second week with work so I love to travel and try new adventures, hope to find someone willing to do new things and see new places with. I stay as active as I can, and loving playing all types of sports to keep busy, even like to try new ones that I'm no good at...lol I feel if you are not trying and challenging yourself you are standing still in life.There is a lot a person could put about them self but then we would have nothing to talk about.     I am not sure if I am looking for "the one" on here, but I am open to the idea of it. I would like to meet someone to spend time with and get to know each other and hopefully share similar interests. I have realized that dating someone with a somewhat compatible schedule is very important to me. So hopefully I can meet someone with evenings and weekend generally free. I am a typical guy on Saturdays during the fall. The day basically gets consumed with the Buckeyes. Whether it be at my house hosting or possibly down on campus tailgating and going to the game. I am a sucker for country but I enjoy a wide variety of music from classic rock to old school rap. I am an aspiring DJ at heart and tend to be unanimous choice of my friends to play music at get together and parties because of my vast music collection. The ideal first date would be something simple. A coffee shop or a small hole in the wall place that isn't overly loud so we have a comfortable place to talk and break the ice. I am open minded though. I can step outside the box for a first date if it fits the person. I feel a movie or a loud bar during a sporting event wouldn't be ideal for the first couple dates. That time would be best spent getting to know each other.

I listen to a wide range of music could be the blues one day (Muddy waters, Howling Wolf, Taj Mahal) Metallica the next. This is a waste of time filling these out.
