I have a pretty balanced life and believe that moderation is important.At times, I have a hard time sitting still. There is so much in the city off the beaten path that’s overlooked. Actually, I've learned to make my own Indian food over the last few years with mixed results. There are so many things to do: street festivals, live shows, art shows, places to eat and small pubs to share a few drinks with friends.I have a great family and was raised with values. I have a Southern mother and a Yankee father, which makes for an interesting blend of Southern Hospitality meets NYC attitude. But I tend to exemplify more of the Southern Hospitality. One thing I’ve noticed is guys today seem to have forgotten what chivalry is. Maybe it’s just me but I still believe in the old fashioned rules of dating such as opening doors, picking up the check on a first date, picking a random flower or any small gesture that brings a smile.I consider myself to be genuine and upfront about what I’m seeking in my match. Nobody is perfect and I don’t believe in a 100% match. I find learning from one another’s differences is an exciting part of any good relationship.
