You're probably wondering, what's a hot-piece like me doing single? I wonder the same thing as I cry myself to sleep in my frilly bedding, silk pajamas, while watching the Note Book, ahem. Ok, so maybe that's not the case.Aside from work, I'm a grad student that spends my free time playing ice hockey, volunteering, spending time with family/friends, and whatever else I can fit in. I know my active life can scare some away, but I still have quality time to give to the right person. I may not always be available, but I'll be there when you need me. My best feature, besides my smoking body, is probably my sense of humor. I can usually get a laugh out of almost anyone without being mean. Generally I get along with most people, but that doesn't mean I'm a pushover. As for music, books, movies, and other entertainment...like most, I have a wide range of tastes. It can go from the popular, to the little known, to the embarrassing...it just depends.I guess I should finish with something impressive, so here goes. I am very adept at knowing when to use the following:There They're TheirYou Your You'reTo Too Two I'm not a dinner and movie first date kind of guy. Not that those are a bad combo, just tough to get to know someone when having to get interrupted by a waiter/waitress and then sitting silently in a movie. I prefer to start out with coffee or drinks and actually talk to a person. Then, if we click, we can plan an awesome 2nd date like hitting up IMAX, museum, or botanic gardens-then share a meal.

I spend most of my free time outside skiing, climbing, mountain biking, fly fishing and travelling.I like to cook great dinners with friends, read my book after a long day outside, or relax with a good movie. I love the little luxuries in life; I try to never skimp on coffee, chocolate, or cheese. I'm a passionate person in my thoughts and actions, and this weaves through everything that I do. Playing with the turns in life is one of my daily joys, whether I'm in the water, dirt, or snow. I sometimes go too fast, but what's the point of a life half lived? Arriving scraped, bruised, dirty and smiling sounds pretty good to me.Listen to all kinds of music, but I wouldn't call myself well versed. It would be great to meet someone to show me something new. First off, I feel the need to say that I have a job and own my own house. Normally, I wouldn't mention that but from what I read, many "men" on here still live in their parents' basement, lol. I like keeping active and being outdoors : camping, hiking, swimming, skiing. I try to get to the gym on a regular basis. I also play slo-pitch. I'm a typical guy in that I like sports BUT I'm not a guy who lets it rule his life ie: all day Sunday on the couch with football, fantasy leagues, hockey pools, etc. Like pretty much all kinds of music. Always looking for upcoming events and conerts to go to. Anyway.......can't think of much else right now. Drop me a line and we'll chatI should also mention that I have a 7 year-old daughter. I have her 50% of the time. So, when I'm with her, she is my priority.
