Things have changed drastically in my life recently. This is my first year off from school since I was three and I have the opportunity to pursue things I haven't had the time for in the past. I would describe myself as a thinker and an intellectual and I have been enjoying the pursuit of my more creative side.I love good conversations, good food, music, and being active. And I like to share these things with others. My family is really important to me. They live in different cities though so that is something.I spend a lot of my time in coffee shops reading and writing. Otherwise I am at work where I do sales and drive a forklift. I enjoy relaxing on my front porch with a book and a cup of tea or a beer. I have also been spending more time playing and writing music...usually folky stuff.I hope to start a new program in school next September. We will see where that goes. Someplace for a good conversation. Maybe coffee or a beer or a walk.

I should say that I'm less concerned with what you like, than that you be able to talk about those things intelligently, ideally in terms more specific than saying that something--a show, a book, a movie--was simply good or bad, that you liked it or you didn't. The way you talk about your hobbies or passions, your reasons for having them, and the meanings you ascribe to them are, I think, more important than what those particular hobbies or passions happen to be.I recently graduated from U of T with a Master's degree in English, and I'm taking a year off before going on to a PhD. All that really means is that I like books and movies and ideas and talking about them all in painstaking detail.Apart from that, I basically spend the rest of my time on my bike, and this is probably where I'm happiest these days. I only started riding again last April, I switched to fixed-gear (I still fall sometimes), and now it's hard for me to imagine how I lived without a bike.I've got a pretty dark sense of humor and I'm a thoroughgoing cynic.I'm also a vegetarian.

Hello, how are you? I am currently working as a barman, but back home i worked as a 3rd Assistant director on TV shows and films, it was a pretty good job, but it was crazy hours and hard work. However it did allow me to travel and work in amazing places, i spent 4 Months working on a show in Spain which was amazing but the most stress i have ever experienced in my life but was definitely worth it. As well as travelling it allows you to hang out with some pretty cool famous people, and also some pretty famous uncool people, i am absolutely willing to dish the dirt over a beer as well haha. My goal is to get back into the industry over here, it is proving very difficult though because of all the unions over here, but for the moment i am quite happy working in the bar having zero stress and actually having some free time. Speaking of free time, when i am not exploring the delights of the GTA i am either playing or watching football, or soccer as you Canadians call it. It definitely takes up too much of my time and if there is a match on i will be watching it for sure, i have just recently started playing again after a 2 year hiatus, i had a pretty serious knee injury so i am just starting to find my feet again and feel my way back into it, it deeply upsets me that i am not as good as i used to be haha. If i am not playing/watching/thinking about football i am doing the boring/regular things like reading, cooking watching movies and all that. I generally do not watch that much tv but when i do indulge, my favourites include: Breaking bad, The Sopranos (the best piece of television ever made, perfect in every way), The big bang theory, Seinfeld and Frasier, i went through a phase of being unable to got sleep unless i had a Frasier dvd on. How weird is that? My music taste is very diverse, then again everybody says that. My ITunes is a wonderful mess of different styles of music but, if you were to hold a gun against my head and demand i tell you one genre i would have to say classic rock: Beatles, Zeppelin, the stones, ACDC, CCR, Dylan and all that good stuff. EPIC. Being Scottish, i love a good night out, we are very good at drinking. Although i am not really a clubby person anymore, i am more of a sit in a good bar and have some good chat and listen to some good music. That being said though i do enjoy going to a club now and again, i have also been known to through a few shapes if i have had enough to drink. My dancing ability has a direct correlation to how much i have had to drink, the more i have drank the better the dancer i am, or so i think anyway... Anyway, this has proved to be a very long and laborious process so i am going to finish now and have a beer and rethink my life. But message me if you would like to chat, i am always up for meeting new people. I dont really have a type and find lots of different things attractive in girls. However i do have a soft spot for girls with glasses and short hair. But the main thing is good banter.Thanks for reading. Good bar with good banter
