Hi I'm Richard...This is a bit like writing some kind of warped CV.... I work in media and love writing both professionally and for fun. Started off writing for football websites and have also done some standup comedy... would like to write a book but who has the time for it? Date = killed.

I think a first date is best when you are able to relax and have fun - afterall, what matters most is the company and the connection. A pub or restaurant is a classic (do you like Thai, Italian or Chinese?), or as an alternative something a little more interactive like a zoo, bowling, mini golf or ice-skating - but be warned, I have been roller skating and if skating on ice is anything like skating on wheels, then I anticipate lots of bruises. Don't say I didn't warn you!
