* I love music...metal, classic rock, new age, alternative. I don't care much for rap or country.* I'm passionate about my work and career, currently finishing up my master's degree, contemplating a doctorate.* I love the outdoors, but seldom have the chance to enjoy it, would like to change that. Fall is my favorite season.* I enjoy quiet nights at home in addition to being out with friends...variety is nice.* I'm a single parent of two children, one grown, one still at home. I've a teenage son who has autism, he's challenging, but he's worth it.* When I say a few extra pounds, it means I'm not a skinny model type. I've flaws, I'm imperfect, working to change the things I can, and accept the things I can't.* I'm damaged...I've a past, but I'm also very aware of my demons and dealing with them.* I'm non-religious, this means I simply no longer believe in foolishness and will not entertain a relationship with someone that does.* I have tattoos and considering piercings...planning more tattoos as well...while having them is not a requirement, I do enjoy them...quality counts.* I enjoy a drink or two occasionally, my poison is usually tequila. * I smoke, but only when life is stressful or in the company of those that do so as well. It's a vice I could give or take.* I prefer trucks, SUVs, and motorcycles to sports cars and fancy sedans. * I prefer sitting around the house in sweats or flannels, comfortable. Would wear jeans to dressing up any day, but that doesn't mean I'm incapable of putting on stockings and heels.* I'm not here seeking notches in my bedpost, don't waste your time if all you want is to get laid, I love sex, but I seek more in a relationship,* I'm not looking to marry again, but I do seek a fully committed relationship. seeking a best friend, confidante, partner in play, someone to liven things up, and enjoy life with.* I enjoy laughing, you should too. You should be able to handle a spirited attitude, even seek to bring it out more. * I seek someone that is confident, but not arrogant, hard-working, honest, and understands the importance of trust in a relationship.* I'm not looking an online relationships, will not cyber, text, or webcam with you. I will not share personal information with you until I see fit.* better yet, he's assertive and orders new flavors for me to try...just cause that's how we both roll. (if you need this analogy explained, you probably have little in common with me...as it's not about ice cream.) something light....coffee, grab a drink at a local pub, perhaps grab something to eat at a local diner or if the weather is nice, pick up something and take to the park.

Woman. 48 years old. Zodiac sign: Taurus.
Looking for: man. In age: 45-55
I've been most often described as geniune. I am also extremely honest (maybe to a fault). I grew up in a large Irish Catholic family (I'm one of 8 kids!) and wouldn't trade that for the world. Being an Army brat taught me to be friendly and outgoing not to mention wanting to move every 4 years! I graduated college at 40 and got my CPA soon after...it's never too late to be what you might have been! I have three beautiful daughters who are all grown and out of the house. I love to travel and get to do some with my job but am looking forward to more pleasure trips in the future!

Woman. 48 years old. Zodiac sign: Leo.
Looking for: man. In age: 45-55
I am a confident, hard working woman. I'm looking for someone to have some fun with and perhaps find a relationship. My ultimate desire is to find a man to share my life with, someone who compliments me. I love to laugh so he has to have a great sense of humor! I am sweet and affectionate and want the same in return. I am looking for a gentleman who treats a woman with respect (in my book chivalry is NOT dead). It makes me happy to do things for the people I care about. Of course I also enjoy being the recipient from time to time as well. I'm happy with my life for the most part, but all I am missing is that special someone. I have been divorced for 6 years - after a 23 year marriage. I have two great kids who are both grown and out of the house. I love to travel! I travel during the week with my job but I'm always ready for an adventure on the weekend as well. Weekend getaways make me very happy! I would love to find someone who can introduce me to some new activities. I try to stay in shape, working out a couple of times a week. I'm not thin but I'm not obese either. I am well proportioned and I have curves. I think sometimes men (and women too) "think" they could only be interested in the Barbie Doll type--but I personally think they don't know what they might miss out on by ruling out those of us who do not fit into that mold without even making the effort to get to know us. I take pride in my appearance and have been told many times that I look much better in person than my pictures. I am down to earth, quick witted and playful. I’m comfortable in jeans or dressing up for a night out. I don’t expect to find perfection in a man, as I am not perfect, but I will always strive to be the best me I can be. I'd love to get to know you. Perhaps you read something that intrigued you. I'm a fun person who has a lot to offer. I'd love to hear from you. I'll reply - that's only proper. If we don't seem to be a match, maybe we'll be friends. If we hit it off--even better! Don't be shy! To me a first date is more comfortable when there is something "going on". For ***, a ball game, a movie, a play, etc. I know that doesn't offer much time for conversation, but by the time you get to that first date, I believe you should have had at least a few conversations already. If you are comfortable enough to just hang out with someone that's the great feeling. After your activity, then perhaps some coffee or dinner and conversation. I just don't like that awkward first meeting to be sitting across the table from someone trying to find something to talk about non-stop. Maybe I'm alone on that--what do you think? Being with someone during an activity gives you a great insight into who they really are and what their personality is really like.
