I've been told that I am perhaps a bit unusual....I'm not looking to be financially supported, fixed or completed by another person and I seek the same in my partner. I prefer evenings at home cooking a nice meal together a glass of wine and listening to some music, I don't watch television, or spend much time online… I also like to indulge in many creative pursuits; I love the change of seasons and I equally enjoy the cold of winter and the softer warmth in spring and summer, I love the mountains and the ocean equally.I know many people talk about not having any baggage from the past, and although this sounds good on paper I have found it just isn't possible to leave the past behind entirely, it is woven into the fabric of our lives and a part of who we are. Hopefully we have all learned from our past adventures and this is what now moves us forward into the future. I also feel that truth is most important, and having said this I want to also say that I don't believe in chronological age (this being the date of ones birth) the number I have included in my profile is based on my psychological age and my bio-markers.I'm not looking for a pen pal or a cyber-relationship and I would prefer to meet early on to see if anything "clicks" I haven't met the person I want to share the rest of the journey with yet, but I have met and maintained some wonderful friendships in the process. I also have come to realize that at this stage of the game, meeting and getting to know each other is very different from what it was ***years ago, I think most of us have different expectations now. I still believe it is necessary to first fall in love with our eyes and our minds, and then with our hearts...and only when this is in alignment can body and soul join in the dance.HINT: I often hear men lament; "what do women want"?????? A single rose at the grocery store costs $1.99, this could net the greatest ROI you've ever experienced!! The first date might be a cup of coffee, a glass of wine or a walk/hike....perhaps plan to spend an hour or two together in a comfortable and casual environment and see what might want to happen from there.

Hawaiiana(lived there for 3 years)island get-a-ways...holding frozen drink in hand whilst taking in the rays on an empty stretch of sugar white sand with swaying palm trees dancing to flow of the tide and the crashing surf. :) Most of all spending quality time with that special someone...don't care to be overly rich, just want to be happy and in love.
