Where to begin... I have two girls, 17 and 13. They keep me pretty busy although my oldest is now at college so I only have one to keep up with. It was a difficult decision but I felt I really needed a change and I was hoping to further my career. So far, no regrets. I've discovered it's a little harder to meet people and establish a circle of friends as you get older. I grew up in the country, was a bit of a tom boy with a wild streak as a kid. I've learned to tone down the wild streak. lolIt's important to me to stay in shape and I try to get to the gym at least 3 or 4 times a week if I can. Relaxing usually consists of some TV time, a movie, a good book, going to the beach if it's nice out, hanging with friends.Some of my favorite things...going to concerts, sitting around a fire, being with people that make me laugh, adventure, thunderstorms, snuggling, sleeping in, long weekends, beach vacations. Most of my friends don't have the same taste in music as me. My favorite are bands like Three Days Grace, Seether, Nickelback, 3 Doors Down.& newer stuff too. but I like a wide variety and love to hear live music. For the most part I really enjoy my work. It can get intense but I don't "bring it home". There are times I need to talk about it so I hope you're a good listener. Don't worry I won't drone on for hours. I like being around positive, upbeat people - no time or energy for drama and pessimism. I believe for a relationship to be good...it should be built on trust mutual respect and good communication. That being said - nothing beats chemistry - it's just got to be there. Yes...the pictures are recent.It's hard to write about yourself...I'm much more interesting in person. lolWhat I'm looking for: A man who conducts himself with integrity and confidence; self-confident but not arrogant, willing to take the initiative but not be controlling, has a great sense of humor ( can tolerate my sarcasm/wit and give it back); is supportive and "has my back" so to speak. I'm cultured and country, silly and sultry, a true Gemini through and through. I'm a study in contrast. I have been successful in the business world but am at a place in my journey where I really relish the simple things in life. I'm ready for life's next chapter, book, adventure (insert description here) and I'd like to find a man who will be my partner in it. As independent as I am there's still a woman inside that wants to be spoiled without being smothered and courted without being controlled. I'm also the mother of three amazing young men; one of whom is an active National Guardsman. When in with groups of people I enjoy meeting and greeting. As quiet and down to earth as I can be I'm also extremely inquisitive (almost to the point of interrogation - but I'm working on this) and outgoing. I'm not the most spontaneous person, I tend to be a planner, but with kids and animals, it's not easy to just pack up and go...but I will if I can. :-) Whatever works to promote good conversation and to see if there is chemistry.

A couple things about me that are important are my family and friends. I enjoy spending time with them even if its just hanging out at home drinking wine and cooking. I have a drama free life and I like it like that........I like to work out at the gym, go for walk in the park or around my neighborhood, cooking, beach, watch movies, dancing, reading, and I DVR my favorite shows to watch when nothing else in on tv. NCIS is my favorite show.....I have an awesome job in the Medical field that I look forward to going to everyday. I have been at my present job for 14 years.I listen to all types of music. I am looking for my best friend and someone to share my life with that is honest, caring, loyal, adventurous, good sense of humor but can be serious when needed, and has some of the same or similar interests as me. I do watch some sports (football and baseball mostly). Love going downtown to watch the Tigers and tailgating at U of M. My family are football fanatics. I am allergic to all dogs and cats (sucks I know). Somewhere not to loud maybe meet for coffee or a drink to see if we click. If not no harm done.
