About Me

Life in my twenties and thirties was filled with family and working hard. I have one son still at home, and the others are grown and gone. With lots more free time on my hands these days, I am looking forward to taking in a little more of what life has to offer. I believe that great lives are created day by day and that even on the worst of days, there's still so much to be grateful for. I enjoy sailing, listening to live local music, going to the theater, watching live sports games, and spending time with friends. I'd like to get more into running and kayaking this year. I'm like everyone else -- I have great days and days that are more of a challenge to get through, my strong points and areas of my life where it's best to rely on the strengths of others. I care a lot less about what mistakes people have made or obstacles they have faced in the past than who they have grown to be because of those times. I believe that we each have the power (and responsibility) to create the life we want, and that it truly is the small things that matter the most.I have time on my hands and energy to burn; want to enjoy the show together?
