As with everyone on this site, there is so much more to me than meets the eye. If I had to describe myself, I would say that I am a fun-loving, active, real (genuine personally and physically), kind and classy woman who is looking for a man with similar qualities. Hope its true. =)Health and fitness are a huge part of my life! Although I am not a gym rat and prefer to be outside being active rather than inside the gym... I would love to meet a man who is active, and believes in healthy living who might want to go to the gym with me sometimes. Although I have nothings against drinking in moderation/socially, I do not drink often or much and don't need it to relax or have fun. I hope you have a similar attitude. The best thing in my life is my children. I have two boys who really bring it and I am very proud to call them mine. They are older and although we do things together, I do have time to make new friends and to date.Although I am not looking for a saint, and don't claim to be one myself, I am looking for a good man... I am looking for a relationship with a man who is single and a classy gentleman. I prefer a strong man of good character (meaning you TRY(not expecting perfection) to do the right thing even when no one is watching) someone who I can respect who is available emotionally, stable, smart, fun, and fit. It would be great if he is on the tall side,(or at least taller than me) as I am 5'6", slender and have been told I have a ballet dancer's but with curves body. ( I like to wear heels, too!I) I love great conversation with educated and interesting people who tend to run deep. I am not a superficial person but value what really matters in this life. This does not mean that I am all seriousness, as I love to be light hearted and to have fun too! I am a true believer in the healing power of laughter. I believe we are all here for a reason and that life is meant to be enjoyed. And have FUN!As far as music goes, I love all different kinds. Listening to music and going out to hear bands, concerts, etc. is a wonderful thing and so is a night out dining, dancing, people watching, seeing a play as well as a night in watching movies, cooking a meal together or playing board games and cuddling by a fire... now whats not to like about that?Just so you know.... here comes the part where I spray my "Player, Faker and Flaker Be-Gone".....LOL ...I am easy to get along with and I am all about mutual respect, consideration, compassion, open and honest communication, earned trust, kindness and of course, playfulness(fun). Relationships should be two people who not only enjoy each others company but have fun together. A man can expect to be treated that way by me. I expect the same from him. If you don't, you will see my sassy side.... as well as my back side ; ) walking away from you pretty fast. It goes both ways.....I adore a man with some sass and class who respects himself and others and is only into playing fun games like Scrabble, etc... not head games. Hobbies - play pool, read, watch movies, spend time with family, friends and alone.Goals - try to update my house and maintain the yard and landscape. Maybe a weird goal, but some people don't care about these things or get lazy. Trying to embrace a healthier lifestyle and it is definitely a goal.About me - I enjoy making others laugh, but I am also a serious person. I like to meet up with friends and have a few drinks and dinner. I am a girly, girl... like I want to have my nails painted and enjoy wearing makeup and dolled up. I like wine as well. But on the other end of who I am.. I will totally put on sweat pants, baseball cap and no makeup and go to the store. I will drink Coors Light from a can or a bottle. I am not that picky or high maintenance.Music - mostly enjoy today's country music, if listening. Country music brings me peace, I think this is why I enjoy it most. I do like dancing, and therefore I like pop music too. I also like rock n roll... Years ago would attend the annual Ozzfest. Some of the music was more than I would prefer tho. I do appreciate Audioslave, Soil, Stone Temple Pilots, to mention a few.Overall - I think to myself that dating had evolved so much. Both male and female are not the same as what we would have expected years ago... matter of fact, years ago we would not be on this site searching for someone of interest. I think dating is hard to do. I do have high expectations and think the man should be just that, The Man and want to take care of his girl, but also he should relax a little and let her try to do things for him too without getting upset. I think that when you are dating at age 40, you need to have a very open mind. You need to remember that at this age, people are more set in their ways. Just relax... and know that dating is about learning about each other. Time will tell if two people are really compatible.
