I don't want this to seem mean, I think it's more mean to string a relationship along that one or both parties knows isn't working.I would like to add, I have faced life and death decisions. Decisions that have changed my outlook on life and how to live it. I live as positively as humanly possible. I am the ultimate optimist. I find something good in every situation. Even if I fail at something, I learn a lesson so the next attempt is successful. I don't like drama, and will shut it down immediately. I have learned how to NOT enable others to suck me into their drama. I have had to lose friends that were energy vampires, only for the good of my own sanity! I saw a quote recently that fits pretty well: Do not let others draw you into their storm, draw them into your peace. I am very family oriented. My grown children visit with me often. I will spend an entire day running around shopping with them, or BBQ'ing. I am the caretaker for my elderly father since we lost my mother last summer. This does not mean I don't have time for someone special, and my dad is NOT baggage. I have done my very best to not have "baggage".I set a pretty hefty goal for myself recently, and I achieved that goal when I became a homeowner in May. My next goal is a motorcycle! Please be employed, have reliable transportation and a place to call home before you engage me in conversation. I have several tattoos, and find men with tats more attractive. I like masculine men, but not necessarily so masculine they don't know how to treat the people around them with respect. I am not looking for any one-nighters. I won't give my phone number to strangers and I certainly won't invite someone to my home until I can meet and see his chemistry. If you are looking for a "hook up", I'm not the woman you want. I have been to 49 of the 50 states. Hopefully get to the last one someday. I enjoy travel whether its a couple hour road trip or cross country adventure. I would love to someday travel to Europe and Scandanavia. The only foreign countries I have been to are in North or Central America. I am a trivia wizard, basically useless information sticks in my brain for some reason. Not very helpful in life but a trivia game or game show I'd be great!! I can do anything from casual to formal dress depending on the occasion prefer dresses most of the time but not in a prissy princess kind of way. I don't have a lot of specific hobbies but am always up for new adventures and trying new things. I love to take road trips, read books(mostly mystery), have two rescue dogs I love, enjoy sports, concerts, and am currently trying to get into better shape. I am not the kind of person who needs to have someone in her life but I would love to have someone to do things with and possibly turn into something more. I admit an affection for alternative 80's as that is the era I grew up in, also really like most rock and punk. I find it strange to put lots of specific requirements of what I'm looking for and will find it strange if you have them. In reference to the kids questions I have one and don't have an issue with dating someone with kids but am not planning on making anymore. You never know a person just by one thing so don't disqualify them or have them discount you based on superficial reasons.
