I like to laugh, and am pretty happy generally with how my life is, I have great friends and I spend time with my family, I would just like a partner to share life with.I like to spend time at gallery openings, seeing live music, theatre, and dance, with a broad range of tastes in all. I love alternative rock and jazz and finding dives around the world to see it. I love outdoor concerts in the sun and intimate venues too. I love classical and singer/songwriter stuff. Not too much into country and Rap, although sometimes Stomping Tom or Johnny Cash are perfect for the moment. I love classical, especially chamber music, preferring small solos and quartets to large symphonies.I was hit by a car last March while riding my bike, a literal head-on collision with a minivan, so my physical activity is momentarily limited. I walk about 2- Can't wait to be back in top shape so I can enjoy my regular fare of running, cycling, hiking, snowshoeing, swimming...Throwing mid-week dinner parties is a worthy decadence. I cook like crazy, am half Italian and versed in French cooking, but most things I make are based on whole, organic foods made from scratch. I love fine dining and finding amazing hole-in-the-wall restaurants. I hate the word "foodie" and get called it a lot.I have travelled quite a bit and hope to do more. I like travelling in a variety of ways: road trips, backpacking or 5 star it, and pride myself on packing light. I have a passport, undies and a toothbrush in my purse at all times, ready for impromptu getaways.I am looking for someone who can hold a conversation, I like to talk about politics, religion and other topics that polite girls aren't supposed to broach, particularly over a bottle of a good red. On the other hand, I love puns, and being silly. I want someone who is a bit old fashioned, as I can't possibly make all the decisions and first moves. I like someone who has manners but is not pretentious. I don't want to be stood up, lied to or taken advantage of. I value quality over quantity. Hmm. Revamping my profile little. Have met some really great people on here so far. New friends are always good right:-) anyways, looking to meet someone who is interested in a long term relationship. That wants to get to know one another with intentions to that end. Needs to have a unique sense of humour, a friendly, open and honest disposition and can really "Go with the flow". We all have busy lives and responsibilities and expectations thrust upon us daily, here's to hoping i find soneone that can mesh with all that and vice versa! I have two wonderful kids that keep me busy and a job that i have a love/hate relationship with. I try to be as active as time allows. Some things i enjoy are volleyball, biking, hiking, camping, and really just hanging. I've always been a pretty spontaneous person but admit that has slowed with the addition of kids. Doesn't mean i can't do some sudden and crazy thing, hope you can keep up:-) anyway, if you like what you read, you know what to do.... I usually like to do something active so we aren't feeling like we are interviewing each other! I'm pretty east going though so...whatever...
