I've been divorced for a long time, I've been 'out' of a relationship for years; as well. It feels like I've just been swept along- raising my kids and working and making everyone else's life easier and more comfortable- that I forgot about living mine. Now my kids are grown, and I really don't know what to do with this freedom. I try to go with the flow of friends and social events; but it's getting old, always being alone or with 20 somethings. Coffee is always an easy first date and if both people are enjoying themselves, then there can be more to the date. For example, a walk in a pretty place such as a botanical garden or dinner and a movie. It would be fun to go to a jazz club or listen to some music or go to a performance and have coffee to talk about it afterwards. I am open to new ideas too.
