I'm a reader and a writer, active and inactive, patient and stubborn, rational and emotional, well-fed and hungry, certain and confused. I know my character is alright because most dogs and cats really like me. ;-)I finished grad school a couple years ago and am doing what I can to change the world. The journey has always been interesting.People usually notice that I use a wheelchair. And then, they may do a double-take and say, "Wow, she's hot!" heehee Maybe. I've always been interested in people, what they do, how they think. I like to hear the stories people need to tell and tell the stories people need to hear. I love spending time with people, reading good books, reminiscing with friends, going new places, and being outdoors. I'm trying to balance making the world a better place and enjoying what it is already.I understand that life can be complicated; and in response, I like to make simple what I can. I am blessed with good friends and family...and would love to add a good partner to the list of those people I adore. Although I have an independent nature, I thrive with companionship, am motivated by social life, and enjoy people who are comfortable both with conversation and with quiet.     After being with the same man for 19 years & having some time to myself, I'm ready for a LTR relationship. My youngest daughter will be graduating from high school in the spring & then moving onto an out-of- I'm spiritually an old fashioned Lutheran girl who still goes to the families "home" church but due to being related to everyone, there's no hope of finding my man there.
