About Me

Profiles all start to sound the same after awhile so I will try to keep this simple. I have a close family, I love to cook, I own my own power tools, I camp outside in a tent and I think it is important to pamper myself from time to time. My favorite things include my little black dress, live music, street fairs, funnel cake, laughing so hard that I start to cry, rainy Sundays on the couch, that high after a good workout, first kisses, red wine and great conversation. Things I hate: let start with all the unnecessary skin I see on this website. Really, guys, keep your #%$^ clothes on!! I am not going to base whether or not I want to talk / meet on how your abs (or your crotch) look in a photo. And if you are that shallow then I know that you are going just off of looks. Being attracted to each other is important, but it is the easy part, it is just DNA. Don't you want to get past that and find out if we have a connection? I know I do. I have never broken up with someone for looks, only for personality or incompatibility. How about you?I like to think I am smart, funny, compassionate, hard working and that I know how to unwind. My friends and my family come first, right up there with my significant other when I have one. I love my life. The only thing I want is someone that gets me, and adores me, that I can share it with. I have learned a few things from my online dating experience that will save us both a little time: - DO NOT *** A PHOTO. It is only fair. When you look at my pics, but you don't have any, it is kind of peeping-Tom-ish. - *** texts are great to get started, but I believe in real conversation, real dates and real chemistry. - It is not a date if you ask me out in a text message. - Don't send me naked (or semi-naked) photos, don't tell me I am hot or that I turn you on, and don't ask me what positions I like. If that is your idea of an icebreaker, I am not the girl for you. The first date should be low key and encourage conversation. It is not about what you do, it is about who you are with.

Woman. 38 years old. Zodiac sign: Aries.

Looking for: man. In age: 35-45

If I had to describe myself, I would say I'm God fearing, adventurous (I get bored easy), smart (street and book), independent (almost to a fault), diverse (I can fit in any situation as if I belong), love to travel (I love to see how the locals live), guarded (I don't let just anyone in my life) . I'm family oriented (love to hang out with family and close friends). I love to cook (love the feeling of making someone smile through food). That is a start about me. If you are curious about anything, hit me up :)Side note: If you have small children (under 10 yrs of age), please skip me. I love kids but my children are over 18. I don't want to start over with little ones. Also, if you don't have the basics (car, place, education and job), I'm not interested. A) Something Relaxing with Great ConversationB) Something Competitive with a lot of Trash TalkingC) Something Fun and Active (Throw caution to the wind)D) Something Quiet with Great Conversation

Woman. 36 years old. Zodiac sign: Leo.

Looking for: man. In age: 33-43

My hobbies are pretty much anything interesting, My goal one day is to own and operate my own restraunt. I am not sure what makes me unique someone has to find out. My taste in music, It looks like Sybil loaded my ipod. I am a successful Executive Chef have been for over 10 years. I have 3 children who are the light of my life. Lately they along with several of my friends have been telling me I need to start dating again, so here I am. First date, I have no clue. I have not dated in 17 years and the thought is a little intimidating. I guess it would have to be a no pressure relaxed environment so we could talk and I would not freak out. Then we could go from there and any man with a sense of humor will certainly catch my eye.
